Many scientists are doing quite a good enough job of that all on their own. I don't think they need help in that matter.
Your vague accusations are not at all helpful. How are scientists degrading the science curriculum specifically? I can tell you exactly how creationists are doing it.
I will live out my faith in EVERY area of my life. I will not force it on anyone, but I WILL speak of it and of the truth of Jesus' death and resurrection, His sacrifice for all mankind. What people do or don't do with the Gospel message is entirely up to them, we ALL have the ability to choose.
Again, good for you. That doesn't entitle you to simply declare that creationism is science, that it deserves research funding, and that it should be incorporated into the science curriculum.
You will not succeed in ordering me around.
I'm not ordering you around. It's called "separation of church and state." You already conceded that creationism is a religious issue and that the Bible is not a science textbook.
And also, if you are so opposed to even hearing about it, why are you here?
Where did I say that I was opposed to "hearing about it"? Again, you have an awful penchant for not actually listening.

So is statistics. That doesn't make statistics political.

I wasn't aware that addressing scientific evidence was being disobedient to Jesus Christ. Care to explain?

I was told not to speak of how God created the world, outside of a church building. That would be disobeying Jesus Christ.

Perhaps some people think that their wise sounding terminology, like "cognitive dissonance", "strawman" etc. , really does make them wise.

In fact I see these terms thrown about carelessly and conveniently all over this forum in a convenient attempt to evade the real issue and address actual questions and concerns.

Apparently all you have to do is yell, "STRAWMAN!" And you're off the hook.

Nice. ;)

You can always demonstrate how the evidence is flawed and please be specific.

Oh, I have. And for anyone who really wants to learn more, the internet is available.

Here is another term.

I would call the content of your post, classic projection.

Perhaps we should take a leaf out of your book and just say "that's just your opinion, man"?

Because the science they put forth as unarguable truth is anything but.

Again, good for you. That doesn't entitle you to simply declare that creationism is science, that it deserves research funding, and that it should be incorporated into the science curriculum.

It deserves to be honestly explored, just as Darwinian evolution is.

I'm not ordering you around. It's called "separation of church and state." You already conceded that creationism is a religious issue and that the Bible is not a science textbook.

Oh yes you are, you told me to keep my views inside the walls of a church building.

And actually, it may surprise you to know, since you have never bothered to ask, but I completely agree with the separation of church and state.

Where did I say that I was opposed to "hearing about it"? Again, you have an awful penchant for not actually listening.

Well, your being here does indicate that you do in fact desire to hear Christian viewpoints, which is why I'm completely confused at your apparent disgust with them.

Oh well, it is a Christian forum after all.

And yet another post where you try to avoid the evidence presented in the thread.

How confident are you, people accessing the internet will believe as you do?

They don't have to, the choice is entirely theirs. Like I've said multiple times on this forum, what a person chooses to do with the evidence before them is entirely their choice.
