You can tell me that I'm wrong until you are blue in the face, but the fact it, you are wrong.
Genetic engineering and time travel have been staples in Science Fiction since 'forever'. Some of it really clever, some of it just bad.
Society has always been fascinated at the concept of Time Travel...and it isn't bloody deception or a sin to explore the idea in a fictional universe.
The 'S' symbol in Superman was explain as 'hope' in Man of Steel..so we have to take it as such..hope. You honestly can't say that the S symbol on him means 666 - as there's only 1 S for 1 6, not 3.
I have zero idea why you get worked up over this. Science Fiction is just that...fiction...not real...not meant to be taken as such.
Matthew 7:1-3: Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
If you're going to judge others for seeing movies as pure entertainment, then you should also prepare to be judged yourself for "mistakes" you also do
Science fiction has not existed "forever". It started with Verne and Wells. Wells is a well documented Fabian Socialist that promoted an atheist one world government. Who also "just happened" to write science fiction.
Your naivete would be amusing if it weren't so dangerous to yourself and others.
