1 John 3:8 “He that committeth sin is of the devil;
Why should we believe you Jason, you sin, you are of the devil.
Your own words testify against you.
Because they are washed clean by the blood of the lamb Jason.
I believe the Gospel. Christ and Him crucified. There is no other way. When we believe that Christ alone has died for our sins, we walk in the light. You see, it is all about God, not us.Well, it talks about righteous actions that they did. Read it. Revelation 14:3-5.
This is what is in context to them being blameless.
As for the blood of the Lamb: How do you get the blood applied to your life?
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7).

What makes you righteous?
I believe the Gospel. Christ and Him crucified. There is no other way. When we believe that Christ alone has died for our sins, we walk in the light. You see, it is all about God, not us.
All of this time, I have been declaring Christ and Him crucified while you declare righteousness in the Law.
In Christ
Daniel
Rom3:20 is speaking of the law.
In rom ch7 Paul explains that, includes: thou shalt not covet, one of the TC.
Jason states we are under a law of righteousness concerning: Thou shalt not covet
Give me that list Jason... I am really interested in reading about these Holy men.
That is exactly what I am saying, Christ fulfilled the Law. There had to be a scapegoat. Jesus is the scapegoat, our sins were placed onto Him.
Christ is our covering. All the glory belongs to Christ alone!
The Gospel is simple, it is Christ and Him crucified!
We walk in liberty. Yet God forbid any of us sin.
We are promised a change, not in this life but in the life to come!
Christ is our Hope.

What happens if we willfully sin?
My friend, you are so close. Until you get to the but than...Jesus Christ imputes righteousness to me by having faith in Him without any works when I first accepted Him because I asked Him to forgive me of my sins and I asked Him to save me and I believed in His death and resurrection for salvation on my behalf. Then from that point, Jesus Christ continues to impute His righteousness to me (within my life) when I walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).
This is not my righteousness ultimately.
It is Christ doing the good work in me or through me (See John 15:5).
So Jesus saves both in Justification and in Sanctification.
So salvation is entirely in the Lord.

Honestly, we all willfully sin. You, Me...everyone. We take our sins to Christ, confess them and He is sure to forgive them. What happens if we willfully sin?
