So they identify authors yet the author(s) of the source remains anonymous. My skeptical alarm is ringng.
The celestial authors of the Papers are included, but I doubt that's going to turn of your skeptical alarm.

The Urantia Papers claim to be "revelation". It has a vast content including the entire life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth from birth to death and resurrection.
That's nice and all, but do you have a link to the folks who make the claim of knowing the authors of the gospels?
I would like to check their evidence and justification in how they have identified authors, since it goes against the majority opinion of NT scholars and historians. Are these people legit NT historians?
If you don't have a link, or the support I am looking for, just say so.
The same way you can know any other work of ancient literature that intends to give a record of historical events is accurate in what it records for one.
This is true. But you will be hard-pressed to find people willing to die for something they know is false. Which is exactly what you think the early martyrs did.
I get your point. I have 3 kids, as a parent I've come to see the wisdom in not doing my kids homework for them or sparing them from important learning experiences. I do it because I love them. But I also get frustrated with the way God runs the universe, then I calm down and trust that those things which I don't understand in time, I will come to understand in eternity.
Jesus said "follow me"
There are countless other self-proclaimed messiahs who said similar things.
Yea but none of the other Messiahs did what Jesus did and frankly still does as he fosters the church that bears his name.

I guarantee you there are other messiahs claimed to have been brought back from the dead, healed people, etc
Are there historical documents showing they existed in the first place?
Are there any for...
Oh right, you probably think the bible counts.
More like, not believing it happened, until you can prove it did.
There are many who made similar claims with similar evidence to back up those claims.
In most cases regarding Christ the only difference is the speaker happens to believe the set of claims.
