I dislike how the news is druming up fear.

Do you believe "God is for us" ? today ?
He Says His sheep do not listen to the voices of fear , or doubt, etc ....
Listen to Jesus, the Good (Perfect) Shepherd, and follow Him. We don't listen to another voice. Stay focused on Jesus, in line with all of His Word and Plan and Purpose in Salvation in Christ Jesus.

I am eagerly awaiting reports of anti-vaxxers getting it and refusing the future vaccine.

Something tells me the anti-vax movement will be a little quieter over the next 18 months.

Good for you. You know then that someone will know the truth, even if they remain quiet.

Look for the reports over the last few centuries, of the households who overcame the plague, the viruses, the epidemics, and so on.... history IS repeating itself, because for lack of knowledge, people are afraid, and perishing.

My question was, why did GOD create something that would harm us?

If nothing harmed, would Adam and Chavah(Eve) have died ?
If nothing harmed, would Jesus have healed anyone ? (revealing God's Glory )
If nothing harmed, could pharmakeia deceive anyone ? (Revelation 18)

Yet Jesus Told the permanent disciples following Him: BE OF GOOD CHEER, I have overcome the world.

Scrub nurse we call that over here

Scrub nurse is usually an operating room nurse. I am a bedside nurse for general medical and pre & post surgical patients. (I have some specialty trainings too but that isn't my job now)

I have seen pics of the caregivers in Italy, Iran, and China and they were in full-body suits. Those aren't easy to change to I expect they aren't changing protective gear between patients and maybe are part of the cause of spread. We wear the yellow tie on isolation gowns and replace it between patients to keep from spread the germs of one patient to the next. It might not be an issue if all their patients have the same diseases but has me wondering.

However, ours is a joke if they can't provide enough masks and face covers to protect us, the caregiver. This is definitely a problem right now. Not a risk to the patients but it means a lot more caregivers will be getting sick faster.

Let me clarify: Even when/if/ all the other or any other caregivers besides me refuse to do what they can, and they get sick regularly... I don't. (not as a caregiver (no worries at all with any sickness), nor in a group of sick (one thousand may fall on the right , and ten thousand on the left, and it will not come near us, as God's Word Says directly) ....

THere are simple things to build up your body's defenses and immunitry, not related to drugs.

THere are simple things to build up your body's defenses and immunitry, not related to drugs.

As a professional caregiver as well as a caregiver for Jesus, I get exposed to things on a regular basis. Sometimes I do get sick but my immune system has been strong enough to fight off all pathogens to this point without needing hospitalization.

That said, we live in a fallen world that does have pathogens that even faithful Christians can get (again, we live in fallen bodies). There is no book in the Bible that is focused on "perfect health". Not getting sick does not mean that a person is more Godly...but rather simply blessed by grace from God . God also loves people who have immunity disorders and other conditions of a fallen body. We (meaning Christians) will be blessed with the perfect body after death. That is the promise of Jesus.

Yeah...thou shall take extra vitamin c...this wise man doesnt take his medicine...believe in Me and your body will never get old and vulnerable... the Bible is full of those

What is the "Key" Revealed to Pastor Josephson , as related in the book he wrote with thanksgiving and praise after being healed of terminal cancer, (he lived healthy another 60 years, btw)... ?
In the book "God's Key to Health and Happiness" (still available, probably)

Had to look hard to even find this pastor. You have to buy the book to find out what his "key" is. And if the book was published in 1976, and if he lived 60 past his cancer diagnosis...well that means he was diagnosed at the turn of the century sometime. When not a single scan was available...not so sure that diagnoses is as accurate as you might want to believe it was. But yes, God does heal so he might have had a miracle. That doesn't mean he found a special secret ... and it must not have worked for others because his book hasn't been reprinted over and over. Did he die in perfect health?

Bodies that are made in an imperfect world are imperfect and susceptible to pathogens and genetic disorders.

I think He had allowed that virus nowadays it is because people are, we are sinning and sinning without even repenting.

No really. Its not helpful. Its simply the evolution of another viral strain.
Those getting it are not terrible sinners deserving of becoming ill or dying - Similarly those not getting are not better or worse than any other cohort.

The virus is indiscriminant and it has nothing to do with ones behaviour/sin.

If someone does not cook their contaminated food, (ie. bad health behavior),
then the immune system is compromised a lot easier.

Likewise if the body inhales a ton of toxins (remember sick building syndrome) ...
and many other key things.

The "key" is to do what is right. to do what God says.
And it has proven true for thousands of others.
And those who disobey? They usually suffer needlessly.
All of the examples in Scripture verify this also.
