Learned so much from this thread, it helped me see others areas of concern.
No thoughts yet on my question in post#152 ?

We all have a ways to go on the higher path. I may stagger a little, but my Lord always holds me up.
So may I never take offense at how another expresses words about their faith.

i think its important to consider that we do not expect perfection from the offender .if the offender causes us pain ..its quite likely..if they are of unregenerate nature (not born of the Holy Spirit ) that they will do so again .so our forgiveness must be an act of "grace"

Did the son of Ham get offended? He didn't bring it on himself, yet because Ham was blessed that couldn't be undone.
Still learning

it confused me .. ham was cursed (as the father of the caananites)

but i find it of interst that studies show tht hams son was offended ..he took up offence and passes it on to Nimrod also ..
