Hmm... just pondering, as we're on page no. 1, should we create a different one and let this one die, and have a clever name like Reilly's does?

Timothy

Thats not exactly what Reilly's does.

They retain the bame Reilly's and it's number, and then they add an individualism for that pub.

So if you were to go down that road, it would be...

The Canterbury Alehouse (7) - and then whatever you wanted to call it.:)

Clever? Have you seen our latest name? :D :D :D
Yes, I like the new name, helps me not to feel alone in lacking creativity! ;)

Thanks, Ann M, for showing me the list of members of OBOB, I guess it would be interesting to have that here, but still feels a little too competitive to me... :sorry:

I kind of think that we should keep the same name for the Alehouse.

I kind of think that we should keep the same name for the Alehouse.

Some of our names are creative, some are reflective of what's happeing (eg the engagement pubs) etc, but there always fun.

I understand where you're coming from about the competitiveness of the numbers and I will admit that there is alot of that in Reillys, especially as we post individual Pub No's as well, and we do like to beat Andy ;) . But I thikn that the fact that we acknowledge everyone, who has visited Reilly's is also a bonus, and it gives a small part of belonging to each person who posts there.

Hold on, we had a conference and it should now read "The Canterbury Alehouse 7 - Andy is a bloomin' big jessie with an appalling taste in football teams"

What is this?

Pick on Andy day:eek:

Exactly who did you call looney first?

The statement was merely a sweeping generalisation indicating a state of affairs that may or may not accurately reflect the de jure situation within the establishment in question;)
