And whales speak French at the bottom of the sea.And the light and dark orbited the earth from the first day. In fact, the circling of the dark and the light from the point of the "belly button" of earth, back to the same is what makes one complete day.
And whales speak French at the bottom of the sea.
Nope, it's hogwash. All of it. Even "and" and "the".
Nope, it moves. Scripture never touched on celestial mechanics, it simply speaks from a geocentric viewpoint, as do we all. But God's Laws of Physics, observable to anyone honest enough to look, require that the earth revolves around the sun, just as the sun revolves around a galactic barycenter.
Nope, see above. That's what happens when you attach the meaning to Scripture that it never had and never intended in order to make it conform to your own beliefs. You end up arguing that up is down, whales are fish, the moon is made of cheese. and suchlike nonsense.
And the sun rose this morning. Which of course it did not, it simply appeared that way from our perspective. You're arguing against God's design because it doesn't look like you think it should from your tiny earth-bound perspective. Silly at best.“Sun, Stand Still OVER Gibeon;
And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
So The Sun Stood Still, (Not The Earth)
And The Moon Stopped, (Not The Earth)

Sure. "Enoch" also describes nonexistent doors in space through which he claims the sun and moon go in and out. That's a lie too. Old "Enoch" doesn't seem to have had much regard for the truth. He just makes stuff up as he goes.I saw the treasuries of all the winds: I saw how He had furnished with them the whole creation and The Firm Foundations Of The Earth. And I saw The Corner-Stone Of The Earth: I saw the four winds which bear [the earth and] the firmament of the heaven........
• 1 Enoch 18:1-3
Because it is not apostolic, among other reasons.Why isn't the book of Enoch in the canon? It's referenced in the bible numerous times.
It was not divinely inspired, but may contain a lot of truth. We know that Jude quoted a portion verbatim. The apocryphal books generally have a mixture of truth and error, but the Scriptures are "the Word of Truth".Why isn't the book of Enoch in the canon? It's referenced in the bible numerous times.

Many Christians regard it as Scripture, but it was not included in the Hebrew Tanakh. The Lord limited the Scriptures to (1) the Law (5 books), (2) the Prophets (8 books), and (3) the Psalms (11 books). 24 books in the Hebrew canon.Enoch Is Scripture.

That's entirely possible, although there is nothing in the Bible to corroborate that. The question still remains -- why was it excluded from the Tanakh?Enoch was Scripture Before Moses was even born. Noah had the Sayings / Writings with him on the ark.

If it isn't true, it isn't holy. "Enoch" is fiction. The solar system it describes doesn't exist, never has, and never could have. It was written by someone who knew nothing, and apparently cared even less, for the laws established by God in His design of the physical universe. It has nothing at all to do with reality.Again, you are arguing against Holy Scripture
Usually because it gives them a pseudo-scriptural hook for their pre-existing beliefs in "paranormal" claptrap, flying saucers, "magick", and a variety of other forms of new age arglebargle. Whatever spooky-loo crap you want to roll into your "Christian" faith, you can find some bit of sonorous and religious-sounding hogwash in "Enoch" to support it. That's why for real true-blue "Enoch" fans, it becomes the center of their faith, and the real Holy Scriptures take a secondary position, if even that. They find all they want in "Enoch", no need for the far less entertaining Bible.Many Christians regard it as Scripture
