In order for all of the above to actually be prophecy, what date would you put on the penning of Revelation by the apostle John?

in the 60s a.d. while christians were still actively being persecuted by the synagogue of satan in judea and asia minor but that would change in 70 a.d. the destruction of jerusalem and scattering of the jews was the gamechanger. the war was 3.5 years old (it started in 66 a.d.) when the romans finally sacked the temple and burnt it to the ground. the great nero persecution lasted 3.5 years from 64-68 a.d. btw.

3.5 year persecution by the beast 64-68 a.d.
3.5 year war until the abomination of desolation 66-70 a.d.

jesus prophecied using the near demonstrative "this" rather than the far demonstrative "that" "generation" shall not pass until all of these things shall be fulfilled. a generation in the bible is 40 years.

Based on the above Revelation would need to be earlier than most epistles and two Gospel accounts.

Perhaps if you mapped out the dates of each NT book which supports your claim and the scholars who support such would be helpful to the discussion. I have yet to see sources putting Revelation contemporary or earlier to the epistles and gospels.

It seems to me for your eschatological design to be tenable, Revelation must be earlier than most of the NT. Such an approach flies in the face of just about every NT scholars estimations.

St. Irenaeus is quite brilliant. For instance, his melon-based satire of Gnosticism.

One, Satan is himself, and he is in heaven. Therefore, he is not the beast or the false prophet. These three work together, but each has his own identity.

But didn't you just say this?:

Now we know something else about Satan. He also has access to the Earth, and can affect peoples lives. So, it appears that Satan can be everywhere he wants to be, on Earth or in heaven

Want to try to pin this down to one location?

IF Satan can be everywhere he wants to be, then your therefore in the first quote isn't working out so well.

We do know this about Satan. He has a kingdom, and children i.e. a family of devils and a domain, earth. I'll leave off any discussions about the location of heaven but if the Kingdom of God is within, where is heaven? Yeah. Not on the planet Kolub.

Anyway, we can derive a shortcut on this subject of the beast, the false prophet and the dragon. I'm presuming you know the dragon is Satan? Even a great red dragon, per

Revelation 12:9

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelation 12:3

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

The term red should not change the fact that these are pinpointing the devil, Satan.

And here, toward the end of Revelation, all these players, the beast and the false prophet are tied directly to the dragon, and devils. So any meanings of physical locations about mountains and physical kings should be eliminated, other than the fact that these various agents work in mankind, collectively:

Rev. 16:
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

We know the dragon is Satan. We also know the dragon, the beast and the false prophet are UNCLEAN SPIRITS. Just as the antiChrist is a spirit, against Christ.

It is a waste of time to look at physical locations and physical people for any of these matters when we are engaging UNCLEAN SPIRITS

Christian films often portray that all those who have not received the mark of the beast will be killed, this is a symbolic truth. The circumstances are true, but they missed the real meaning due to some failed interpretations. All those who have not taken the mark are killed, this part is true, but those who have not taken the mark are Hamas. The mark was given during the elections for the president of the Palestinian authority, which was boycotted by Hamas. Hamas has never received the mark. Films like to portray all people as subject to the mark. This part is wrong. It only affects those Palestinians who did not take the mark, and not the whole world. It is only Hamas. This makes the mark as what the letter indicates. It was the indelible ink brand given to those who voted in the Palestinian elections.
