Been looking for inspiration lately for a project, and came across some interesting Minimalist interiors:

Oooh I want to know about the project :D
Sure

I used to design levels / house maps for another game, in which players (which were similar to Lego minifigures) could build various things in. The technology was somewhat limited at the time, but I still had fun making them, and most of the community really enjoyed them as well. :) These are a few that I made:

Eventually, I'll begin working on new levels my own game, and will be incorporating my experience with architecture into the designs. =) The game engine and software I have now is much more advanced, so I'm planning on designing some Minimalist-inspired environments; this was a more recent one I worked on not too long ago:

Oooh I love that! :bigeye: So would in this new game a person be able to build a house or decorate it? I'd love to play that game, haha.

Yes mam! I've been releasing playable demos to our community, and a couple people have tried building houses already. Although, the builds so far aren't that large or intricate. But, as the controls are improved, new features are added and more content is included, I'm sure epic house builds and interiors will be possible.

The one on the bottom left looks like a little farmhouse. :bigeye:

"[A]n inexpensive method using mostly local soil to create structures which are both strong and can be quickly built.

It is a natural building technique developed from historic military bunker construction techniques and temporary flood-control dike building methods. The technique requires very basic construction materials: sturdy sacks filled with organic material usually available on site."

Agreed! That new architectural style emerging in Bolivia is so unique and creative; it seems many incredible designs and styles are the result of necessity.

I just heard about Earthbag Construction yesterday, when I was watching a show in which these types of buildings are built - for those living off the grid. It's amazing how houses can be built quickly and at low cost, while mostly using the soil around the house itself as a building material. :):house:

I am fond of the architecture of the old Sears catalog craftsman homes. Even though they came as kits, there don't feel cookie cutter like many suburban neighborhoods where you have variations of a few basic plans that you customize.
