I have a rat named Katniss (but everyone calls her Kat). The black and white rat in my picture on the left is my sister's rat. They're actually both my sister's, but she gave me one as a gift.

Here's a picture of both of them:

My rat is the beige/white one. She's really smart. I've taught her to spin, jump over pencils, fetch, walk on a leash, and carry small things around the house for me. She follows me around the house and likes to sit on my shoulder, and seems to always know when I'm sad. She's also sleeping in my lap right now :)

More pictures of Kat:

There are so many animals that I would like to have, like jersey wooly or angora rabbits, mini goats, chickens, ducks, quail, sheep, donkeys, llamas, etc.

A friend had rats, they are really adorable once you get past the scaly tail :D

@DavidaAC those rats are so cute! Kat the Rat. haha :satisfied: I've never thought about owning a rat before, but they sure are adorable. And they do seem very smart! I love all those tricks you've taught Kat. :D

I think it would be kind of neat to own a Guinea Pig.

But I gotta admit, one of my favorite animals isss:

I'm thinking a Lab. And definitely female. Something large breed.

Have any of you brought in a new dog into your home where you have other dogs? How was the transitioning? Did you have to barricade any of them through the "get to know you" phase? lol

Good choice there. The advantage with females is less behavioral problems, especially if you don't have time to train your dog.

The only problem with female dogs is they don't go well with other female dogs, fighting is common unless you train them and assuming if you already have female dogs are also well trained to avoid fighting issues.

Clearly trampolines weren't made with kangaroos in mind, but he seemed ok after all that unnatural Stretching/flying! IN the YouTube version, he gives it a thoughtful stare afterwards.

I may have made the same scene first time I used a big trampoline! I remember my back hurting so bad!

Just sold my horse last week... Her name was Ditto and she was a beautiful medicine hat paint; all white except for her ears. I rescued her a year ago from owners that neglected her and she needed more training than I had time for. Got her back into shape and up to speed with all her shots and worming. Sold her to a nice lady that is a trainer, so she has a good home...

My dog is an adult boy dog, so I'm hoping getting a female that is his size or a little smaller (or maybe a little larger) would be a good idea. :)

My fuzzy butts, Luigi (right) and Meowzer (left).

Awww :bigeye: they're so cute!!

My dog, always pondering the meaning of life.

Haha he looks very inquisitive! :D

Lol.. watching videos like that sends you down the Youtube rabbit hole..

Mmmhmmm. :D It usually leads me to "something scares cats" or "dogs chase laser beams"

Aww Ditto is gorgeous! I've always loved horses. They're so beautiful and I love all their different personalities.
