Last year's Amazing Race won the Emmy again tonight!! (Over 1st time nominated "The Apprentice" - which I also really like. Yeah!!

Also, Charla & Marla (aka Mirna & Schmirna) were there on the red carpet. Charla looked so cute all dressed up!! Seriously - she was grinning ear-to-ear and people were cheering her up & down the red carpet.

The rest of the Emmy's completely STUNK! I'm sorry, but I do not have, nor will EVER have HBO. I think pay-cable channels should have seperate categories from regular tv programs that are nominated. Can I please share my rant that I am SICK TO DEATH of Sex in The City (thank goodness it's gone now), The Sopranos, and this "Angels in America" that swept nearly all the TELEVISION Emmy's AGAIN???!!! Sarah Jessica Parker won yet again over Jennifer Aniston??? And they think the Kerry & Bush campaigns are shady, negative & unfair - Hollywood politics are MUCH worse!!! $$$$$$ At least The Donald didn't buy votes away from Amazing Race, right?

Whatever.....

Ok, I'm done now. Back to the Amazing Race discussions.....lol! Go Chip and Kim!!

Charla and Mirna were on Mad TV Satuday night doing a skit called "The Amazing Presidential Race." It was o.k, but not side splittingly funny.

I saw the Mad tv skit too. Not terribly funny but the part about taking shots of off Connie Chungs stomach was hilarious. Oh, going off topic. Anyway, I still like Charla but Mirna still gives me the whillies. LOL!

I missed the Emmy's completely last for the first time. I'm usually right there watching the awards show. Glad 'Amazing Race" won for the second year in a row, they really deserve it.

I just remembered the first time I went to the Philippines, I was seven, I road a carabao from the river to my grandma's house. It was really fun. I think I still have a picture of my brother and I on it. In the olden days when we still had film instead of video, someone was able to take some home movies of me on that huge animal, and it happens it was "doing its thing". When we got the film back, we were all cracking up because it was such a moment in time.

Unfortunately, with the rain getting less and less, the river has gone down considerably, where in parts you could swim in it ten or fifteen years ago, now it's pretty much wading.

Hey everyone, were one night away, any predictions? I hope:

Brandon & Nicole
Chip & Kim
Linda & Karen
Colin & Christie

In that order, but I have a feeling that it will go:

Chip & Kim (the only together team)
Linda & Karen (they will have a fight)
Brandon & Nicole (Nicole has a debilitating breakdown)
Colin & Christie (Colin will probably freak out over something he can't control, and then blame it on Christie )

I hope that either of the "christian" teams will win, Brandon has proved himself, Nicole is pretty clean, Chip & Kim, I have heard use swear words, and occasional "Oh my god"s. I still like those two. What does everyone else think?

I like either Chip & Kim or Brandon & Nicole to win....I absolutely detest Colin, & by default Christy, although in last week's show, she was getting on my nerves, too! Just his hair-trigger emotions...and the way he screams at her drive me crazy!! I'm kind of ambivalent about the "bowling moms", although I must say am impressed with all the stuff they've made it through...I honestly didn't think they'd make it this far!!

From what I understand camels are pretty ornery, and IIRC they do spit which is an odd behavior for a animal from an arid climate. You figure they'd want to conserve all body moisture possible and would use a head butt or a kick to get people away from them. Or maybe their just trying to get the sand out of their mouths.

Eeewwww gross! LOL! That should definately keep the people back!

The rope climbing Road Block was nasty! They always seem to have one gruelling task near the end of the race, as if they were trying to weed out the weaker teams, and I don't think it's fair. I'm glad the moms didn't give up, though.I'm not glad that Christie stood there beaming and weeping like a beauty queen.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to Chip and Kim!!!!! they fought awfully hard, and definately deserved the win. Good job to Colin and Christie and Brandon and Nichole though too...they put up a good fight right down till the end. This was the first full season I've been a fan of the Amazing Race, and I CANNOT wait till next season starts!!

Congrats to Chip & Kim! I feel they definitely were worthy of the win.

I was amazed when Nichole broke down on the slope. Brandon remained so kind and patient with her, though. He should really be commended.

Look at the post I made before the one you read. I tried to keep spoilers hidden, but when others blew it, I thought it was fine to let things out. I apologize for spoiling the ending, but you should have expected someone was going to pop on excited about it.
