I don't think it takes away from Chip & Kim's winning though...

Regardless of the sincerity of the proposal, I do agree with this. Each team got a few minutes of Q&A time with Harry Smith, and the proposal and acceptance only took about 30 seconds, so it's not like they monopolized the entire segment. The only ones I feel got short shrifted were the bowling Dads who were introduced but didn't get a chance to speak.

To clear up the spoiler misunderstanding, I think both sides are right. It's best to use the spoiler tags when posting things like who won, but it's also true to avoid certain threads that might have someone blurt out the ending in excitement or forgetting about the west coast delay. Even a newbie could have found this thread and announced the ending out of not knowing about spoiler tags, so both sides were right. But let's not allow it to cause hard feelings, no one did it intentionally, everyone was just excited and caught up in thier win. Most people think of spoiler tags when it's like info about whats to come weeks ahead, not what happened on the same night it aired. So this could be a lesson for all of us. Think of the west coast when we post and also for those on the west coast think about those who may forget or a newbie or anyone who may unintentionally post info about that night's show.

Yeah I think all of the top 4 teams did really well, but I was really glad that Chip & Kim won. Kudos to the moms because that rope climb had to be very hard for a female to do. She was tired, she just couldn't do it. And superman Colin shot up that thing in a flash! I thought he was going to make himself sick from pushing himself, he was really moving fast up that thing! I was like [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]! He's really athletic! I thought they were going to pass up Chip & Kim when he ordered the town car with the really crazy driver and the guy drove up the shoulder breakdown lane, I was like oh no! But they just couldn't make it. I was a nervous wreck as they were showing the scenes back & forth between the two cars and the intense music, I couldn't take it! Then when they showed the car pull into the park from the driver's point of view and we couldn't see who it was yet, I was like who is it?! Who is it!? Then when I saw the van and Kim get out I was like whooohooooo!

I'm glad that the others came in when they did. And I agree with Wisdom Seeker, Lucky. If it weren't for coming in last, they woudln't have known about the flight delay. Not that they didn't deserve to win, but IMO they all did.

Yup, that goes to show, never give up just because you seem to come in last. Each of the top 4 except Chip & Kim were lucky to come in last on a non elimination round in the previous episodes, so now Chip & Kim got some luck their way when they were in last. Whooohoooo!

When I was in Calgary this past week I read lots in the paper about the teams being there in Feb for that last episode. Supposedly there was a challenge where the teams built teepees and it was edited out. That's really too bad, it would have been nice to see. Also, the cab rides were really expensive, as it's a long distance from where they climbed the mountain to Canada Olympic Park for the luge/ bike ride. When I was at Olympic Park I was asking the staff if they saw them there and they did. It was kinda cool. I had been to COP years before, but going there again knowing TAM was there was better. :) Ya I am a geek! LOL

Oh wow, I would like to have seen that teepee building task, bet it was funny  Yeah it did seem like the teams had a long way to travel by cars to each spot. :)

Where? I couldn't find any information about the teams on the CBS website.

This weeks TV Guide.

And I tried a hack on the CBS website (changed TAR5 to TAR6) and it only goes to a preview page so they might be delaying launching the page until the Season starts in earnest.
