This evening after I logged out of my email, I noticed this article on MSN.

(I love the anecdote for #7 - Microsoft Bob - "Mostly, Bob raised more questions than it answered. Like, had anyone at Microsoft actually used Bob? Did they think anyone else would? And did they deliberately make Bob's smiley face logo look like Bill Gates, or was that just an accident?")

Very nice!!! I'm happy to see the IBM Deskstar (knows by techs as the "Deathstar!!" ) made the cut. Also ANY incarnation of the dubious AOL! I don't see Net2Phone on the top 25 list...but it's probably in there somewhere.

I remember it vividly. It came as part of the software package for our Win95 NEC. At some point I realized it was far more efficient to use Works, but my sister refused to use anything else, despite the fact that nothing else seemed to be able to read the documents created while in Bob.

I can't stand that dog!! LOL It is always there when I'm doing a search for a file I *know* exists, yet can't be found by the XP search function. I'm always amazed at how M$ screws up the simplest of things.

Technically IE 6 is the "lastest" version although IE 7 is in beta stages. Just save yourselves the trouble and use FireFox. I was quite happy to see AOHe.. as the top one

That's awesome! I only knew about 10 of them, but it was still great. I remember those stupid hockey puck mice from elementary school...those computers were the reason I can't stand macs.
