You know with the heat and all, hopefully there will be enough time to swim still. By the way does anyone watch channel 4 in Dallas? I only watch 4 so I'm not sure if anyone else is saying this, but I'm getting sick and tired of hearing the weathermen say, "The summer that never was." As if it hasn't been hot. Grrr...I mean, it feels like summer to me. Hmmm...oh well

nope dont watch the news i let my hubby tell me if anything important is going on. the news depresses me too much.

I only watch the weather, but I have not heard that phrase. I jump from channel to channel to watch the weather though.
I got my kids out into the pool today between rains.

Texan by the grace of God. Man I love this state. Right now, I'm near Conroe, but I'm going to retire on the shores of lake buchanon. I love the hill country.

You're 18 years old? You had better go ahead and purchase property right now. There won't be an acre of open lakeside property left in Texas once all the baby boomers finally retire. In the past 5 years, land along Lake Conroe has quadrupled in price. A 2 bedroom woodframe shack on the waterfront that was probably $50-75,000 a few years back is now $200-250,000. I kid you not. Go ahead and buy land and just let it sit there... If you change your mind about it, you can always sell it for a profit.

These 'Roll calls' are nice and all but it really doesnt help christians meet other christians in their area.

Thats the hardest time im having.

I have the worst friends, i've been trying to make some new christian friends... and nothing. I joined this site, and still hasn't helped.

Is there any way this site or ther sites are useful for that? Talking about the Lord on the internet is still limited for truely spreading the word of God.
