Reality disagrees with you. Once again, look at what the Japanese have to pay for their locally produced fruits and vegetables. They do not have a source of inexpensive labor.Again that cost would be distributed over the entire hourly yield, pennies.
What do you think those guys outside of home depot want? A builder friend of mine told me that they've wised up. They want the going rate. They want you to pick them up, drop them off, and buy them lunch.
