  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ditch the tanning beds, they're not good for you!

Using other kind of tanners can be a pain because they leave stains and streeks. Perhaps you can try a spray tan, they're much easier to apply. Try looking into Loreal Products for tanning.

I'm fond of the Jergen's gradual tanning lotion. It is slow, and it may only work so well on me because my skin is sooo white before summer. But I never had an issue with stains, and that is why I stopped using the tanning creams.
Good to hear you're not hitting the beds anymore--just found out a friend has skin cancer from too much exposure.
Let me know if you find a good cream that doesn't stain...I'd love to go back myself! : )

I've heard wonders about this Jergen's tanning lotion. Please do tell us more about it. How does it work and what are the results like?

I just put it on like a normal lotion at night...just trying to focus on getting it on all over a little more. I usually focused on my legs more than anything else since they never seemed to tan...ever, in the summer. It took about a week before I noticed any change at all, but the more I used it the more I could tell--just a hint of a tan and then I graduated to the deeper color level.
Results are slow going...heh, but I continued to use it. I slack in the winter since I'm usually wearing long sleeves and stuff anyway, but I plan on getting another bottle since it's getting warmer again.
Let me know if you end up trying it!

Since I've sworn off going to the tanning salon since I read the risks of skin cancer. Anyhow I've used some tanner, but when I wear white it stains. Is there any non stain tanner?
I GET SPRAY TANS AND THERE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL... IF YOU FIND THE RIGHT PLACE...THEY DONT STAIN YOUR CLOTHES OR HAVE THAT ORANGE LOOK TO THEM. COST USUALLY AROUND $20 AND LASTS ABOUT A WEEK. I ONLY GET THEM BEFORE SPECAIL OCCASIONS THOUGH.. AS FAR AS HOME STUFF THE LOREAL SUBLIME LINE AND JERGIENS BOTH SEEM TO WORK REALLY GOOD AS WELL

I HAVE IT~~~ Go to homeshoppingnetwork.com or hsn.com. Look up the "Tan Towel" set. It's 29.95 with shipping per two months. Get the little towels. THEY ARE WONDERFUL! Either that or go to eBay. I got some cheaper. Get the larger towels, it's a better deal. Seriously, best thing I have EVER tried. And yes, I am light skinned casper and turned myself into an Oompa Loompa MORE than once, this doesn't even come off in the SHOWER. You literally apply it like once per week. it's amazing. Kinda pricy, not as bad as salons though. JUST TRY IT. It's soooo good!

A lot of places have spray booths where you can ensure that your tan is applied evenly. They're a bit more pricey than buying a bottle (about twice as much), but the results are better.
that would be funny^_^ a spray booth tan..
