Steve "Chicken" Morris was born in Marion, Virginia, and grew up on a commercial farm, where he has worked with poultry since he was 13 years old. He is a single parent who raised his three children, Tyychelle and twins Dee Ann and Jessica, on his own.

Morris currently manages the farm, where they produce all natural eggs and chickens along with grass-fed beef, pork and turkey. He also runs a store on the property. He previously worked as a bouncer, a fish culturist for the Fish & Game Department, a security officer and a logger. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and riding ATVs. He describes himself as outgoing and someone who lives on the edge. He enjoys country and bluegrass music. His favorite sport is baseball. He is a member of the Rich Valley Fair Association and the Abingdon Farmers Market Board.

Morris currently resides in Marion, Virginia. He had four dogs, Zek, Cluck, Poke and Eli. His birth date is September 2, 1959.

I know so many people who live in Marion. I'm going to have to see if anyone knows this guy, heh.

Heard a couple of things about the upcoming season, too. These are related to twists and changes this season, so don't click if you don't want to know.

Spoiler: survivor china

There will be no exile island this year. Instead, the winning tribe gets to "kidnap" a member from the losing tribe, who has to stay with them until the next immunity challenge. I'm not sure I understood this part completely, but it sounded like the kidnapped tribe member may be carrying potentially valuable information that no one knows about.

They will still have hidden immunity idols right under the tribes' noses.

There will be no car challenge/prize this year. I don't know if that's a condition of the Chinese government or if they are giving away something else instead or what, but Jeff Probst said there's not one so there will be no concern about the "car curse" this season.

And maybe this is a spoiler within a spoiler so I'll tag it too, but next season....

.... is shaping up to be another All-Star edition. Jeff wouldn't admit to it, but he was hinting around about what a "good idea" it would be.
