It's Terry! That's the good-looking, 40+ guy's name! I can't believe you just think he's cute. I guess I'm a sucker for a ripped bod.....probably why I liked James, too!

I think maybe she thought you were referring to Yao instead of Terry :D

Okay, so have you guys followed the Denise controversy? Apparently, she was not denied her old job as lunch lady for being too "recognizable and a distraction" when she came back.

Before she even went on Survivor, she had asked for a promotion - to janitor - that came with a higher salary and better benefits. She got the promotion. She was a janitor before she went on the show, and they did hold that job for her.

Once she came back and had spent so much time away from her family, she didn't want to be on the night shift anymore and wanted to go back to her old job as lunch lady. That job was already filled though, so she was turned down.

It was really misleading of her to make it sound like it went down the way it did. The school system issued a press release clarifying what the situation really was, and then Denise was on The Early Show this morning with her school supervisor to confirm it and apologize.

It sounds like she's still going to keep Mark Burnett's $50,000 though, if he still offers it to her.

Thanks for the links. Wow, that's the first I've heard of this! It will be interesting to see if she still gets the $50K.

I feel bad for her. She's obviously not well off financially and definitely let everyone know it. But lying is never cool under any circumstance IMO.

Figures.:sigh: I have to say that I was a bit put off by her whining to Amanda for not having anything to go back to. She kept saying she'll just be a lunch lady still earning 7 bucks an hour. I guess the truth just wasn't sad enough. Now, I'm glad that Denise didn't win. I don't like that Todd won either and I wouldn't have been happy with Courtney the snob winning either. So Amanda would have been a decent winner had she not messed up so badly.
