What is this nonsense about Antarctica being off-limit? Here's a long list of Antarctic expeditions. For the last 20 years or so, it includes many solo and group expeditions by more or less ordinary people. So, it is not all run by the Big Science Illuminati.

Yes and no. Not if you understand that Communism couldn't even have got started if it didn't have the support of the US. The Commies have suckled at the US teat for a long time now. The reason the devil doesn't want people believing Earth is flat is that this points to a Creator (i.e. God). A marble ball-Earth hurtling through infinite space, opens the door for creation through evolution, then aliens, then eventually demons or the devil.

That's okay. I actually don't even believe Flat Earthers are for real. Especially having seen instances of individuals that deliberately fake flat-Earth beliefs just for the sake of trolling. Considering how bat-crap crazy the idea of a flat-Earth is, I just assume nobody believes this stuff.

There is still a residual that doesn't aim down but encompasses the whole area. If the earth were flat the sun would reach all places at once. It might be dimmer in around the edges, but never dark. The layout would demand that daylight in Canada is also daylight in China, which we know isn't the case because we can Facetime somebody there and see for ourselves. I know you aren't espousing this, so this isn't really directed to you... but this whole "theory" is just lacking in any real science.

It would not reach all places at once just like your flashlight does not light up whole room but a spot .
There is law of perspective , causing things to disappear but you can zoom in and see them back again .

There's an experiment where they did that over a lake for several miles. Surprise, surprise, the laser didn't drop off at 8" per mile squared like it should, were the Earth a ball. So the very experiment you propose supported the Earth being flat.
