Submissive vs equal partnership

Marriage between a man and a woman is a type of Christ and the church. It runs all through the Bible.

the difference between the bread/letter of the word and the Spirit of Christ has been a constant problem for thousands of years in religious communities.

the whole controversy of works vs faith is due to people being letter followers rather than living in Christ in faith. ignorance of the spirit and thus a clinging to the outward expression the spirit gave is the result, though everyone is as spiritual as they are and everything they do in the spirit is acceptable and pleasing to God.

I don't think submissive relationships 100% of the time are healthy. I think it's healthy if a couple is both submissive and dominant towards each-other. For instance, a man protects his woman. In a sense, that's being submissive towards her. She's also submissive towards him, in that she listens to him and tries to do what he says especially if it's reasonable to make him happy. And he's submissive in that he should listen to her as well. So it's a partnership, of both sexes being submissive or dominant of each-other, just not at the same time.
