Yes, I'd totally forgotten about that! Man, that's how you should get to be on the Mt. Rushmore of rock and roll - when your song doesn't even have words but people are just scared of your guitar sound. :D
Well to be fair, they also had a problem with the title of the song. But it is funny to think about. If they heard the sounds of extreme metal today they'd probably lose their minds.

The Sex Pistols song "God Save The Queen" was very banned in England in 1977, and a lot of major retailers refused to sell the record. Despite that, the song reached #2 on the official charts
Wasn't much of a "ban", then, was it?

Me,. I want to ban the word "ban". It's generally used improperly, strictly for dramatic effect.

"Oh, they "ban' lots of books in Florida". What that generally means is that the State of Florida won't stock public libraries with inappropriate contentography using tax money, and they removed "The Ins and Outs of Gay Sex
from elementary school reading lists. "Book burners! Nazis! "They ban books!"

Can you still buy inappropriate contentography in Florida? Yep, all you can stand, and can afford; the gumint ain't gonna buy it for you. Buy it by the shipping container load. Hand it out amongst your friends. Send your kids to a school where they're required to read nothing else. No Gestapo will show up at your door, no one from the gubbermint will care. Because nothing has actually been banned.

I have no idea what you just said, but I hereby ban the word "contentography".
