Can someone please enlighten me on the Steve Benson phenomenon? I know that he left the LDS Church some years ago. Then I was cruising the internet and found that he has gone over to atheism. Anyone know more about this story?

At one time I was trying to become a political cartoonist/cartoonist so I read and heard him speak as a political cartoonist before I found out he used to be LDS. I'm going be judgemental here (God help me) I also found him to be very arrogant and condescending.christopher123 said:He is very approachable, but has an ego the size of an elephant. Not sure if it is the Pulitzer he won or his status as first mormon and now exmormon "royalty."

Nonetheless, GBH, or my Stake President, I see individuals that have recognized their potential in being created in God's likeness, and are disciplined enough to do something positive with it. You and Steve are just as much God-like, but I have to admire GBH as the better example. I say "better" because that leaves ample room for the Best example to follow.
I have empathy for those who won't allow themselves to believe or have faith in anything when they realize everything they based their entire life on was a lie.
