Good morning to those who kindly enquired about my health following my "short greeting experience" of yesterday, to those who wear a cotton dress, to those who like autumn, even when they don’t see maple trees change colors, to those who read "The shack" and to those who prefer "Hymn of Entry" and have a cold, to those who want Pens to go and go to sleep, to those who lurk in the tavernae or have beer in the dark, to those who brew it and taste it themselves, to those who prefer beer over sports and to other friends.

Wow, greeted 3 times in that....

Good Morrow to you as well

I begin my 1/2 of the week where I am a day person...this weekend, I'm moving the storage room and the office upstairs...cramming the office into my bedroom and the storage into the spare bedroom.

My mother starts moving in next weekend(much to my husband's irritation)...and she wants the basement for her own...so...she will have a sitting room, a bedroom and a bathroom along with 2 closets and all the darkness anyone could want for sleeping during the day :D

In the meantime...I think I have too many books ^_^ must sort through and let some go I'm afraid...but as always...which ones? ^_^

I will be praying for you :)

Give the books to the library that way you can always find them if you need them :) That is what Ido.... Especially with theological or history books....just an idea....

For the second time in 2 days I have been called a hate monger on TAW! Shall I go for a third? :D

You are so lucky to have gotten to go to the Pens game today! :D

She's been telling us for years that she was going to move in when she retires...which is part of the reason we chose this house 2 years ago...the basement is finished and will do for a small apartment even if it doesn't have a private entrance...

Too many books? What does that mean? :o

It means I have more books than my bookshelves will hold :sigh: I refuse getting rid of the cookbooks...and the puter language books need to stay...my Bibles have to stay....and the theology books must stay...which leaves me sorting through my science fiction/fantasy to try and figure out which ones I'll never bother to read again, and which ones are like old favorite slippers when I need an easy escape...

Ah well...I'll sort through...eventually....

You, my good sir, are a hatemonger. Wanna try for four?

Sure I will try for four, but seeing as I know you in person and you are actually quite cordial to me when we speak I highly doubt you think I am actually a hate monger so I think I am still working on #3!

You certainly have a talent for doing a short "wrap up" of the daily Taverna News.:D

How's Paree today?

Here wer're really getting to Summer now. 29C (84.5F) today, and humid. We may get our frist rain for the season. We have had no rain since July, quite a record for us.

Hi Michael. Do you never sleep?

As for this winter, I do not want to think what heating is going to cost? You guys up North have it far rougher than we do. We never had frost ever our whole winter. That was amazing in itself, but we still had to heat up the house. It cost quite a bit, believe me. (And I'm tired of lugging empty 95lb LP Gas Cylinders around too.)

Go well! Have a beer for me today!!! I'm 55 at last! The only benefits are that the kids are out of the house and I get cheaper banking fees.:)

At leat we Orthodox can have Beer on Fridays without having a guilty consience.;)

Hi Kolya! How are things with you? 55 is still 20 years off for me. I am not sure if there are any real benefits to being 35 or not?

I actually have been getting a ton of sleep the past 5 months while I have been off work due to carpal tunnel surgery. That all ends Monday.

It is funny you should mention beer. I am up early brewing Dopple Bock beer for my wife. It is her absolute favorite beer. I personally love IPAs but she doesn't like them because she claims they taste like cleaning solution. LOL!

As for winter, heating bills in winter are scary. We had a mild winter here in Pittsburgh last year so lets hope we have more of the same this year. I really dislike driving an hour to and from work in the snow.

Well, Paris is cool (in all of this word meanings).

The thing most uncool about Paris is the Mona Lisa is not a huge painting but rather only about 12x18. I was so disappointed when I went to the Louvre in 1990 and saw it was so small.

My wife and I own 2 houses. Her house is directly across the alley from mine. She just bought the house in January and it needs a little bit more work before we can live in it. It is a beautiful 100 year old victorian home. We are living in my house while we finish renovating her house. So yesterday we were tearing out a few nearly dead plum trees to make room for a fence we will begin building this week and in the process we decided to tear out an old grape vine that had not been pruned in ages. In the process of tearing out the old grape vine we found there was a climbing rose bush inside the grape vine. We decided to leave the rose bush, although we did prune it quite a bit. Even with pruning the longest 2 of the branches are over 8 feet tall! Next spring I will build a trellis for it to grow on.

That's why only tourists are excited about queuing for hours to see just that small painting. LDV should have painted a bigger one.
