We've had our cook out and now I have 2 days with hubs. Well, a day and a half after his cousin leaves tomorrow. I'm going to enjoy it and hopefully we can finish some of the small projects we have hanging. We've got a week until my dad & brother show up... I've got tons to do...

Hey everyone!
The boys are bottling beer and then I get to clean up my kitchen... Oh joy! All of downstairs stinks of beer (think old stinky bar just before closing).
Been planning where to stay when I go to Alaska and wheather to go to Sitka or not (it's super expensive to fly there from Anchorage, over half my ticket from Norfolk to Anchorage - YAY for monopolies).

I got a bug of inspiration in me yesterday and wrote an icon of St. Andrew Fool for Christ. I am waiting on the seize (gold glue) to dry before I gold leaf the icon. The icon is simply beautiful (which I RARELY say about my own work).

Yes, he is a very different saint from the Apostle Andrew. All I know of this saint is that he threw walnuts at the priest and parishoners of a local church. A friend of mine Andy is very much taken with this saint. If any of you knew Andy you would understand why.
Eusebios, if you have ever been to St. Innocent visiting our mutual friend Dan, you might have met the person I am referring to.

Andy is a very strange person, but in a good way. He has a very unusual take on life. He would fit in well in the Taverna. St. Innocent parish had a large percentage of the parish taken up by one extended family of Serbs who all tended to sit on one side of the parish (opposite from where he and his family and I sat). So when we would sit on that side of the church we were being Serb that day. He also gave Fr. Michael "get out of hell free" cards one year for Christmas to pass out to parishoners.

He is a good guy, with a rather off sense of humor. Hence we get along great.

All I can figure is I'm on here so much that I'm distracted and sometimes I forget to eat or when I do eat it's small amounts. The other night when I ate fajitas I should have gained at least 3 pounds but I lost 2.
Maybe my nerves have something to do with it because of all that's going on around here!!!

I never knew "pregnancy brain" could be so bad. I can't find either set of my keys! Either Vasya has them (and he's at work), or I've misplaced them somewhere around the house. I need to go to the grocery store, but I can't leave unless i find the darn things......
