Fall is hitting here also. I can tell because I am sneezing every few moments.

I thought that was just your allergy to School

College kids are stupid LOL. Today I had Anthropology 101 and so we sat there for 15 minutes waiting for the professor. So some kid says "Fifteen minutes, the professor didn't show up so we can leave" So half the class left, and the other half stayed to be greeted 5 minutes later by the professor apologizing for his tardiness

I'll do that. First day I might give the prof 20 minutes, but any other day I'm out of there the minute it hits the 10-minute mark.

Occasionally, one of my professors will be late, but I always have something with me to keep me busy until the professor arrives--reviewing the material, or reading something else, or listening to music.

Sometimes professors who are late will give a quiz after they arrive to reward those who stuck around. (aka nerds)

I made a bold move tonight.

For the first time since April, I have turned the air conditioner OFF!

The weather is so cool and pleasant, and it feels SO good to be able to open the house up again. I live in a very quiet neighborhood, so through most of the fall I'm able to keep one window or another open.

I can fall asleep to the sound of crickets tonight, just like when I'm camping!

Good morning, everyone.

My husband survived the inquirer's class last night, and he came home and started reading the Gospel of Luke. Hooray!

I just went to Amazon and ordered "Facing East" for him and "Mountain of Silence" for me (and him later, hopefully).

That's wonderful news, Momz! I'm so glad. Maybe he'll want to go to Liturgy with you soon.

Oh, he's been going to liturgy with us for several months now. In fact, he's the one who says "let's go" when I'm lying in bed whining about how tired I am. It's been great.
