See this I don't get... I really like to have the company (and the safety) of having my husband along. However, I know he isn't as thrilled about shopping as I am so either he brings a book he's working on or I will offer to buy him one to read. Then he will place himself on a chair or bench in the general area of shops I'll be looking in. When I'm done shopping in that area he'll help me carry the bags to the next area and repeat. He doesn't mind coming at all and doesn't mind carrying the bags if he just gets to sit and read. He loves reading and doesn't mind if he does it in the mall. If there is something I can't decide on, I'll take it to the door of the store and show him (I will either call him or walk out without the stuff to get his attention). I mean, in the end the guy's opinion doesn't give all that much feed back (sorry guys

) but sometimes he sees which color works better if it's between two sweaters of the same kind or so. Or if it's that really expensive cashmere sweater we need to justify buying...so if he thinks it looks good then it's a go (and he can't say anything

).
On the other hand I put up with listening to plane talk with his buddies so I think it's just fair game. But I'd rather keep him happy coming with me than make it a cruddy situation.
