we used to go to AggieCon every year...that one was pretty awesome...some friends of mine would go to the big one in San Diego every year...they would always bring me back some Green Lantern stuff (my favorite character)...

I'm a Trek fan. There's this group that's going to a bunch of different sci-fi conventions with wax models of the TOS Enterprise crew that you can get your picture taken with.

Also, I'm dying to go to that place in Vegas with Quark's bar. I remember an episode of "A Wedding Story" where a couple actually met there and they ended up getting married on the Enterprise-D bridge.

I just had my first day of training in my new job. In a few weeks I will be trusted with the control of half million dollar vehicles and the safe transport of workers, shoppers and schoolchildren to and from the city centre.

I was a school bus driver one year. It's nerve racking trying to keep control of a bus full of children, but I liked the driving part of it. Plus we live in a rural area so there was a lot of nice scenery.

No he is not. But he will be back for game #2 or #3. I still think the Steelers will go atleast 12-4 (if not better) and have a solid shot at a repeat! It is time for the Cowher-power to begin!

My husband was pretty happy about the Penn State game Saturday against Auburn. JoPa's turning 70 this year!

Believe it or not, I have never really been into college football. If I were going to follow college football I am not sure who I would follow, Pitt or Penn State. I would probably lean toward Penn State, but being in Pittsburgh it would be much easier to actually make it to a Pitt game.

Now last year, when I was dating a Lt. Colonel in the army there was going to be set up a great army v. navy rivaly between Khaleas, whose husband is a Navy officer, and myself, whose then girlfriend was an army officer. But, that relationship ended and ruined our little rivalry plans!

No, that isn't accurate. Here in Pittsburgh they are saying he will miss one or two games. That is, unless the news has changed since last evening. The Steelers might not even pick up another quarterback to back up Charlie Batch.
