I saw the news too, it was so sad. He got stabbed in the heart by a stingray. So completely random.

I think one of the saddest things about his death is that all those kids who watched him are not going to grow up hearing him talk about conservation, which they are a bit too young to understand now.

My parents and brothers just left after a nice Labor Day holiday. We had fajitas, corn salad, and custard pie with blueberry topping for dessert.

I will say this about the death of the Crocodile Hunter, he had a deep passion for what he did and I wish I had the same kind of passion for the work I do that he had for the work he did! That and he was a whole lot of fun to watch with all of the animals he dealt with!

I just had my first day of training in my new job. In a few weeks I will be trusted with the control of half million dollar vehicles and the safe transport of workers, shoppers and schoolchildren to and from the city centre.

Good morning, all! I got back after midnight last night from my weekend in Atlanta. The sci-fi convention was great! When I first got there, I was a little freaked out, but after going to church on Sat morning, I was feeling much more centered and able to deal with it. I can't wait until husband uploads the pictures. We got pictures of all the super hero costumes and Star Wars costumes for my boys. They are going to love it. We even decided to go back next year.

we used to go to AggieCon every year...that one was pretty awesome...some friends of mine would go to the big one in San Diego every year...they would always bring me back some Green Lantern stuff (my favorite character)...
