Its been an incredible year in British Sport! So amazing in fact that deciding on who will win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award will be more difficult than ever!

Do we go for Wiggins combining a Gold medal with his historic Tour de France win? Or go for Mo Farrahs two long distance Golds? Or Olympic poster girl Jessica Ennis triumpth over 7 events? Or what about Andy Murray or one of the Paralympians?

Chris Froome should be mentioned in the long list - he's had an incredible 12 months: 2nd in La Vuelta (2011), 2nd in the Tour de France, 3rd in the olympic time trial and currently lying 4th overall in La Vuelta (2012)

Wiggo will win it though - winning the TdF is murderously difficult (even with weakish competition with many main rivals missing) and it should be recognised for what it is...
