1 John 3 is an excellent passage for identifying God's love, as it is written. It also defines the children of God from Devil.
We have sold this Gospel so short, so much coddling, business, and tickling of ears. Does Truth now cause moral insanity.

John 'the beloved' loved Truth. You see Polycarp of Smyrna (specialized in identifying heresies) was taught by him. Loved God.

God is impartial in judgement, there are no favorites. Many last will be first, and the first last. The flesh profits nothing.
So the people with thousands of acolytes outside the Body of Christ are last, and the few loyal will be first. Not jealous.
