Becoming holy like Christ is not for bragging rights...it's to enjoy the life God wants for us on earth like it is in heaven! We are all sinners. That saying "holier than thou" is often a carnal reaction to someone living a holy lifestyle. Confidence does not always equal arrogance. The term "holier than thou" is/was product of selfish ambition/jealousy.

It's likened to someone on a grade school basketball team (flesh), being angry because an NBA player (Spirit) is more effective at shooting the basketball. That NBA player is JESUS, NOT the basketball. We are that basketball. He does all the work.

Matthew 7:6 is a good verse to remember. Let's not compare ourselves to others, but to Christ. If people judge you, love on them!

1 Corinthians 9:22 KJV

To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men , that I might by all means save some.

"Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:1-2

An excellent ministry-specific theology may not be a universal truth. It has a purpose and a specific audience. Man-made theology is like building using weak materials and weak skill to COMPLETE a foundation that was a created by a MASTER ARCHITECT. It may build on, but will it complete? Will it...last? The apostle Paul says it the best (Scripture). Jesus Christ is the Word manifest in the flesh. Full of GRACE and TRUTH.

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise master builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds. For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as one being snatched from the fire." 1 Corinthians 3:9-15

In feeding the lambs, is it right to neglect the other two charges if the lambs are not growing into sheep? That is not just or fair to the sheep. Don't allow yourself to be shackled in your personal walk of faith by someone else's calling. Pray about everything. Be mature in understanding matters of this kind.

John 21:15-19 (for full context) (NOG).

"After they had eaten breakfast, Yeshua asked Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than the other disciples do?”

“Simon, son of John, do you love me more than the other disciples do?”

"Yeshua told him, “Feed my lambs.”"

"Yeshua told him, “Take care of my sheep.”"

"Yeshua told him, “Feed my sheep.

I can guarantee this truth: When you were young, you would get ready to go where you wanted. But when you’re old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will get you ready to take you where you don’t want to go.” Yeshua said this to show by what kind of death Peter would bring glory to God. After saying this, Yeshua told Peter, “Follow me!”

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." John 13:34

It's nice to get instruction, correction, and reassurance from God and not from human understanding.

It also helps us to be able to tell which people have sound counsel, godly advice, and to listen to such people about things regarding ministry. It is good to test all things, regardless of relational equity.

It's helpful to tell the difference between SUSPICION and FAITHFULNESS.

They are worlds apart, but they may seem identical from a carnal/worldly understanding.

Faithfulness is righteous, yet suspicion is unrighteous.

Suspicion- a feeling or thought that something is possible, likely, or true, without sure proof.

Faithfulness- Faithfulness is the concept of unfailingly remaining loyal to someone or something and putting that loyalty into consistent practice, regardless of extenuating (making an offense or guilt seem less serious, or more forgivable) circumstances.

"“Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber. But the one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

When he has brought out all who are his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will flee from him because they do not recognize his voice.”" John 10:1-5

What a sad song that rings true. The world says that only men struggle with lust, but women struggle with passions of the mind just as much, although usually in a different and inconspicuous way. It's amazing how the carnal mind thinks and operates. While everyone tries to understand women, they don't understand because they are still concerned about earthly things. What is 2 Corinthians 6:14-18?

It's funny because by the time you receive everything, you only care about Christ and His will. To find godly women, it's not easy in this world. I would much prefer to be single my entire life than to destroy my life with a women who's mind is set on things of this world. Save the "this goes both ways" for the PC Liberal forums. That's simply not Scriptural at its core.

Logic and reason over arbitrary emotional impulse saves much suffering. 1 Timothy 2:9-15/1 Peter 3:1–12/Genesis 3:16-17/Ecclesiastes 7:28. That is Logos (the Word).

"When people read posts that suits their fancy, they go - 'I love you!' 'Wow, you're the best!'. When they read a correction, they go defensive. No preacher should gulp the praises of men. "Stay far away from a voracious devotion to the word as a believer and you become so cool with the world. Whether your spiritual senses are numbed or sharpened is determined by your devotion to God's word. Cultivate delight in the word. It arms you with a sane mind in a world full of chaos."

Some thoughts on heretical teaching and testing all things. Christ is the Word manifest in flesh (John 1:1).

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

Matthew 10:34-36, Isaiah 40:8, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8, Psalm 138:2, 2 Peter 2:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:1-8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 2 Timothy 3:1-9 (I encourage reading in context).

"I am astonished how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ.

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a divine curse! Galatians 1:8

"As soon as night had fallen, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. As a result, many of them believed, along with quite a few prominent Greek women and men." Acts 17:10-12

Noble synonyms - Honest, Righteous, Upright, Good, Worthy, Reputable.

Honor the elders leading in your ministry. They're not there because they wanted to play games. They're there because they have been in this battle for a long time now. They remain where they are for a reason. I may speak impiously at times, but I have great respect for them.

"Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness." Proverbs 16:31

Kindness and Patience are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).

It should not be surprising that animals (domestic and wild) are comfortable in the presence of God's anointed. That is the way of love.

The way animals (domestic and wild) react to a human is a clear indication of the nature of the human that is around them. Animals are incredibly intelligent. They often perceive things that most humans don't see.

“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you;
And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you."

Job 12:7 (in context, Job chides his accusers). God had already judged Job to be a righteous and upright man (Job 1:8), concerning Job's character.

"Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel." Proverbs 12:10

"The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter." Revelations 8:10-11

So wormwood can be a bitterness found in oneself, as a result of worldly influence/attack. A root of bitterness that kills people. I remember that star. It almost killed me! Thanks be to God that I had greatness lying underneath all of it! Jesus! I hope everyone can see their greatness and not the bitterness of wormwood. Wowser, a third of the waters. That's a lot! I prefer still, peaceful waters (Psalm 23:2)

"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many." Hebrews 12:15 (1 Peter 1:13-21). A call to holiness and peace.

"As bitter as wormwood, goes an ancient proverb (Proverbs 5:1-4 for context), and wormwood is indeed one of the most bitter of all plants." That's a bad tree with bad fruit. Let's be a good tree with good fruit!

Let's be good listeners!

Mark 4:26-34. Let's grow on good soil. To be a big healthy plant. Not Wormwood.

The Seed Growing Secretly

"Jesus also said, “The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground. Night and day he sleeps and wakes, and the seed sprouts and grows, though he knows not how. All by itself the earth produces a crop—first the stalk, then the head, then grain that ripens within. And as soon as the grain is ripe, he swings the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

The Parable of the Mustard Seed

Then He asked, “To what can we compare the kingdom of God? With what parable shall we present it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds sown upon the earth. But after it is planted, it grows to be larger than all garden plants and puts forth great branches, so that the birds of the air nest in its shade.”

With many such parables Jesus spoke the word to them, to the extent that they could understand. He did not say anything to them without a parable. But privately He explained all things to His own disciples."

I used to suffer from Abuse/Neglect/Child abandonment/Manic Bipolar Disorder/PTSD/ Schizophrenia/Demonic generational curses until Jesus healed my life. This song instills a chilling nostalgia and victory over my broken places. Even victory over the death of many loved ones (not just physical). The best Counselor doesn't counsel from a book of knowledge, but experience and joy of the Lord. A Father to the fatherless. God is a Father to the orphan spirit.

Although as a result, I have an incredible awareness to my surroundings. Does this lead to Spiritual discernment, Psychology major? Mastering the mind was the first, and the last. You could say it was the beginning and the end. Perhaps we can weave tangled spider's webs sometimes, and be trapped. Jesus brings freedom and life. He's my everything.

Precious man! Radical Miracle Skeptic made a believer! Let's walk in the supernatural, naturally! Stand on God's Word and promises, always. No matter the outcome. It's Jesus. It's LOVE in relationship!

Don't ask "what if they don't get healed" ask "what if they DO". Better yet, don't question God's Word! It can be very challenging and hard at times. God is always with you no matter what! Most people will even enjoy the prayer alone! Others may hate you. That's being a disciple! Always ask for permission.

"Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:8

Glory to God!

Christmas is a pagan holiday but I treat it like every other day. It belongs to Christ! Super glad that every day is for giving and not just once a year! 365 days of generosity! Thanks God! Thankful that it encourages friends and family to be together annually.

I will never forget the first time Christ healed someone through me. Something the doctors couldn't fix (elderly man's crippled/paralyzed hand for 20~ years). There's an overwhelming sensation of love that floods through both parties and the people around you.

The tears of joy, thankfulness, and relief.

The long hug of thankfulness.

The incredible surge of hope and encouragement.

The love flooding the eyes with light, replacing the death and despair.

What an honor to be a willing servant. We get the privilege of experiencing all of these sensations as God works through all things to His glory. It's rather addictive.

The FIRST and the BEST for God. That's the sacrifice of Abel over Cain. (Genesis 4). Risk taking!

I feel recently I've been shown by the Lord to take time to listen to people and what they have to say. There are some INCREDIBLY intelligent people that no one knows about! They speak things that are even in the right Spirit but I wonder if they will be saved. I think God showed me this today, that there are some things that we need not concern ourselves with (concerning eternal judgement), only hope, faith, and love.. Life Experience and researching for oneself is underestimated often.

Even this man who is incredibly learned on various pagan gods and spirituality (He hasn't yet accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of his life) can see that Pope Francis/Roman Catholic Church/Papacy is on the wrong path, with various other religious elite. He can see the abomination of homosexuality (even acknowledging that if the church excommunicated his sister on that basis he would have no problem with it, although he loves his sister). He can see the opposition of teaching of the church as it compares to what Christ taught. He can see the hypocrisy of believers. He sees many things! He knows of faith and works. He knows Scripture. Believes in demons/spirits and various supernatural happenings/government secrets/Business corruption. (all of this I brought up from Scripture and experience and he acknowledged and spoke on it in DEPTH after I brought topics up, even after denying it previously on a basis of pagan religion/cultural practices/experience).

He sees the value of a life of peace and mastering the mind/emotions. He knows sound doctrine. He can spot liars in the church. He sees that he can have church at home without going to the building! He sees the poor are rich and the rich are poor. HOW? He has had a very hard life, full of suffering and the need to make it on his own, while retaining morals through it all. I hope he can see who has helped him do all of this.

I will continue to minister to him and learn OF a great wealth of worldly knowledge (freemasonry, hinduism, egyptian, hand-weaving signs, spirituality as seen by other religions). Many religions are similar to Christ's teachings but there is only One Living God! Although He did say something that struck me.

"I think all these religious gods were placed on earth to see who would believe in which and which would win in the end)." (See 1 Corinthians 1:21).

Also talking about the egyptian god that weighs gold with the heart of a man's soul on a scale. whichever weight wins determines who goes into the afterlife. In most religions there's a similar concept of accountability for a person's life. I hope people will continue seeking the RIGHT ONE. JESUS CHRIST! (I did profess my loyalty to my faith/God's Word continuously with respect, and he respected that).

A deep discussion on such a level that many believers have yet to attain. Thank you Jesus for keeping me steadfast and mature about such topics!

In everything we do, we do out of love or fear. If I can't obey out of love, I will obey out of fear. I know God wants us out of Love. Like a Father protects his children out of discipline but if there is love, there is no need for discipline. This is my belief on whether we should fear God or love him. I believe both can be good. Speaking from a place with no affiliation or ties to a specific doctrine, or influence except the Word.
