Who cares what Dad thinks about the interior of the earth.
Not me. I care about facts and what is known, and what God says on the issue, being creator, and all.
Here's some real geology:
Scientists know what the interior of the earth is like in a way that x-rays tell us what the interior of out body looks like. Only instead of using light rays geologists use seismic waves.
I mentioned this already. Now, if we bounced a seimic wave off the city of New jerusalem, when it gets here, what would we find? It would bounce a certain way. Now, if, for example, the only physical only thing we know that would stop one sort of wave, and allow another to go through was water, or liquid, we would assume that is what was happening if it behaved that way. But, lo and behold, if the spiritual also properties of New Jerusalem also had a similar effect on the seismic waves, that would change everything! Indeed, whatever is distorting, bending, reflecting, or blocking (etc) the waves deep in the earth is NOT known, or seen. It is assumed it is physical only material like we are familiar with on the surface. If it is eternal material, all bets are off. And since God says the earth and foundations in particular is forever, all bets are off! All your stuff rests on a supposition that the interior is as the exterior, which is inferior, and that turns so called science on it's posterior!
Note that the S and P waves have specific "shadow zones" where they are missing. This is how we know at least part of the core (the "outer core") is liquid.
Utter religious nonsense, of course. We know squat. We simply see that it behaves as the physical only material we know up here would. That does not mean that it is liquid there. Nor does it mean, if there was liquid, it would be the sort we surmise, at the temperature and density and gravitational specificity we imagine. After all, we would need to FIRST prove that the laws of physics ( i.e. temporal state rules) apply there. We can't. Your simple surface geology simply does not, and can not be shown to apply.
The core of the earth is largely iron as well as some nickel and maybe some oxygen or sulfur.
Not at all. That is only if it was under temporal rules, and there is reason to assume otherwise, since spirits are known in many cultures through history to reside there. There is, on the other hand NO reason to assume it is in the temporal state down there, and physical only.
We also have several other avenues of evidence, as mentioned earlier; the magnetic field and its strength tell us about the ferromagnetic materials in the core, the mass of the earth tells us something about the materials that make it up.
No doubt there is a field. What causes it is another matter.. The mass of the earth tells us absolutely nothing UNLESS that mass is physical only. That we do not know. Fess up.
Interestingly enough there's some information about the actual crystal form of the iron in the core
What about baseless speculation do you find interesting, precisely?? Do tell.
One last thing; the
word Nickel, the element which makes up a couple percent of the core, is said to be derived from a couple of interesting words:
-----------------------------------------------
Word Origin: German Nickel: Satan or Old Nick, also, from kupfernickel: Old Nick's copper or Devil's copper (
SOURCE),
Well, if we try to put the nice material of nickel down where diamonds, and gold, and precious stones are more likely, it does cheapen the hellout of God's wonderful creation, far as I can tell. In that sense, the devil connection is apt.
Hope you grasp this stuff. You need to realize you are standing on sand, actually, of so called science. But thanks for the little effort.
