Do you think that SpiderMan 2 will be better than the first or a dissapointment like most sequeals are?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The people that saw it early, I heard on t.v., said it's waay better than the first and Roger Ebert said that this is the best super-hero film he has ever seen so I'm going to see it in exactly 24.5 hours! The first showing at the theatres tommorrow is 10:30 am!

I didn't much like the first one, but I enjoyed the preview alone for the second one more than the whole first one I'll probably see it. Maybe.

I like the previews for the movie.....

I think it will be better cause the actors will have gotton better (hopfully) and the story should be farther developed. It will be bad though if they turn it into a complete love story.

I just saw it earlier today. I actually cried when it was over. It's by far the best super hero movie I've ever seen. Peter Parker has always been my favorite comic book super hero and I am overjoyed that they are handling the movies so well. Watching it, I felt like a kid again. I loved this movie.

My son saw it late last night and came home absolutely raving about it. He's a pretty good "critic", so ... Looking forward to seeing it soon myself!

I saw it last night and it was sooo much better then the first !!! It was a little sad at times but over all good .Can't wait for a 3rd spiderman and tobey maguire rocks!!!

I just saw Spiderman 2 last night and loved it. I liked how at the end you have to kind of decide what happens. Anyway, the enemy was a lot better in the second movie and the effects were amazing.
