Spend any time in GA lately?

Just looked around in GA. Is it just me or am I correct in thinking that it is idiotic to spend so much time and to post so much on a Christian forum when you don't believe in God? I am not talking about honest seekers I am talking about the semi-pro antagonists that hang out there baiting and waiting.

There are a lot of people whose honest questions start out confrontational. With the treatment some of them have gotten, I don't half blame them.

Think about it this way. Imagine that you lived in a culture dominated by people many of whom taught that Christians were inherently immoral, and some of whom openly declared that we held our beliefs only out of a stubborn desire to deny the truth. And imagine that these people would pass laws from time to time that made it hard for us to live according to our beliefs.

Might we hang out on one of their discussion forums? I know I probably would.

I guess the best I can do is pray for them or shake the dust off, one or the other. I am leaning towards prayer, cause that is what Jesus would do, but that dust thing thing looks real good sometimes.

I actually enjoy it a great deal; my problem comes mostly from trying to conform my rather eclectic witnessing style to the board rules.

If we cared more about confrontation than in just living out our own beliefs, then yes, we probably would.

That is satan's way of getting in here to try to turn Gods people against him. These people join not to get to the truth (most of them) but to try to turn others away from God.

Perhaps. I bet Christians there have a lot more interest in really understanding Islamic beliefs.

Or even if we just wanted to understand something which we had an initially negative impression of.

I think a lot of people who seem very hostile are actually just asking tough questions. Some actually come to change their positions over time; clear evidence of good faith.

I have visited the GA forum from time to time, and I found the C vs E forum to be worse.

Ruthless people there, I tell ya, just ruthless

That is satan's way of getting in here to try to turn Gods people against him. These people join not to get to the truth (most of them) but to try to turn others away from God.

And, unfortunately, some Christians on CF have become agnostics or atheists (or non-Christian) because of the GA or Discussion and Debate forums....

It's always difficult to see brothers and sisters in Christ fall away. All the more reason to go out into the wilds and speak of our, but more importantly His, Love for them.
