Very passionate yet one only need consider that the bottom line is that some soldiers just do not want to be around people who practice homosexual behavior and that is true for a good number of supervisors all the way up the chain of command.

A clear cut case of discrimination.

And your telling me every soldier hates gays? You're realling telling me every unit would just collapse if one of the soliders was outed?

Maybe I think to highly of the Armed Forces then.

Comeon man, it's dinner time.

OK, I'll eat late.

If you can't put quotes around something I said that would lead you to write the above then I didn't say it.

You keep saying openly gay soldiers would ruin unit cohesion, so either you're wrong, or the military is full of frat boys.

By it being voluntary only, invites those who only have "skin in the game", to have a reason to reply.
Like those who may be homosexual and those who have been offended by the homosexuals. Anyone else would have had to set aside more important duties to take the time for this "voluntary" survey.

Right, which even further strengthens my argument. Those that don't have "skin in the game" then don't really care about it. Only those that care have skin in the game. Thus if they don't care enough to take the survey, then that would suggest that they don't care about gays serving in the military.

It seems the answers to the questions I posted, state otherwise.

It seems the results of the overall study show otherwise.

You speak as if only homosexuals and those whom oppose DADT are the only ones with a "skin in the game". Wouldn't those whom support it also be more apt to fill out the survey. Also, that it's voluntary is most likely a misnomer. Anyone in the military will tell you that there are lots of "voluntary" things that everyone has to do.

How about journalists stop lying? The 70% statistic included the option of 'mixed feelings'. As usual, for leftists the truth is 'whatever I want it to be'.

Here are some actual stats:

Q45. If you had a leader whom you believed was gay or lesbian…9% positive, 91% negative or mixed impact on unit's performance.

Q68c. 85% of Marine Combat Arms, 75% of Army Combat Arms, 64% overall say Negative, Very Negative, or Mixed impact on unit trust if DADT is repealed.

Q90. 29% would take no action if assigned open showers with homosexuals. 71% would shower at other times, complain to leadership or chaplains, don't know or do "something else" [including violence].

Q81. 24% will leave the military or think about leaving sooner than planned. (One half million troops will QUIT the service early, destroying our national security.)

Q80. 6% will positively recommend service to others after repeal. 94% feel negative, mixed, no effect, or don't know about recommending military service to others. (Destroying recruiting efforts.)

Q66. If open homosexuality impacts combat performance, is the impact...9% positive, 91% negative or mixed impact.

Q71. 11% feel positive or very positive about permitting open homosexuality in field environment or out at sea. 60% negative or mixed. 19% no effect.

Q73. 5% say repeal would positively boost morale. 41% say negative or mixed impact morale. Rest no effect or don't know.
