I was playing half life, the original, and i went through the introduction movie thing, and it got to the end where the security guard is supposed to open the train door, and well he got up to the door and went "ughh" and fell down, and i couldn't get out of the train....has that ever happened to ya'll before? It was just really really weird....

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would firstly try reinstalling and downloading the latest updates. Also see if you have any keys locked in place (for example rapid fire on a joystick)

hmm... you dont have a weapon at that stage so i doubt its a fire problem... i expect its a prob with the program, the latest patch should cover it, if not e-mail them, they should know how to fix it

Do you have cheats on? Cuz I remmeber strange stuff like that happening before because I had cheats on. Having cheats on sometimes makes the game go crazy

I've been playing Half Life for the last couple days and its a really good game. Btw..if you surf on over to http://www.planethalflife.com they have the latest game patch. Get that
. Its rare but every now and then the guards somehow manage to kill themselves.

I would suggest uninstalling it, getting the most recent update as A Taffer suggested, and reinstall the game. If that doesn't help, then find the latest audio and video drivers.
