Not when there’s equal rights and anti discrimination laws in place.
You would think that seeing the effects of drugs and crime first hand would be a deterrence itself but instead it’s often glorified and those who don’t partake are typically ridiculed.
Can they pay the tuition? Do they get the resources to help them with applying to college? There’s hundreds of colleges that will accept anyone who can pay the tuition.
And that's something that community-based childcare hopes to address. You would think that seeing the effects of drugs and crime first hand would be a deterrence itself but instead it’s often glorified and those who don’t partake are typically ridiculed.
I’ll give you a hint: think socioeconomic circumstances.Well seeing that there’s no reason why they would be forbidden to attend college I would think that in most cases they didn’t want to do what is necessary to accomplish the task. Surely they’re not all applying for colleges and being denied. There’s hundreds of colleges that will accept anyone who can pay the tuition.
LOL. Yeah, sure. Laws fix EVERYTHING because when a law is in place NO ONE CAN be biased!
Given that race, alone, explains so MUCH of the variability in the data I am not sure what your point will be, but I will ask: what do YOU think is the real underlying factor(s)?
Interesting point. White college kids use marijuana and sell marijuana at the same or higher rates than black kids of a similar age cohort. Yet a black kid is FAR more likely to be arrested and sentenced to prison for the same drug offense.
Why do you think that is?
I’ll give you a hint: think socioeconomic circumstances.
Can they pay the tuition? Do they get the resources to help them with applying to college?
The reality is that African-Americans have a higher percentage of single-parent households. There are multiple causes for this, but the important thing to remember is that many of those causes are self-perpetuating. Simply saying that black women should get married isn't a solution

Yes, there's a lot of information out there on the internet, but it's difficult to sort through on your own if you don't know what you're looking for. And many children don't think they can go to college in the first place, whether that's due to finances or because they don't think they're smart enough.
I answered this question, they didn’t want to do what it takes to accomplish the task.
I’ll give you a hint: think socioeconomic circumstances.
Get a job and work at it.
Stay out of crime.
Question for you.
How is the BLM campaign going to cut black deaths?
The stats show that it is blacks who kill the most blacks.
None of this has anything to do with racism.
So, across the board, the VAST MAJORITY of black people simply don't "do what it takes"?
That’s true, but also misleading.
Those two are the biggies. Black people are FAR more likely to get a harsh sentence for the same crime a white person will get a lesser sentence for.
Get a job? Good luck with biases in hiring committees (that does still happen).
By drawing our attention to how black people are treated by our justice system.
Here's an interesting quote and article you may wish to hit up:
"But, by all means, let’s talk about “black on black crime.” You’ve probably heard a statistic like this before – The majority of black people murdered are killed by other black people. That’s true, but also misleading. The overwhelming majority of white murder victims each year are killed by white assailants. So, when’s the last time you heard the term “white on white crime?”
Stop using ‘black-on-black’ crime to deflect away from police brutality
