Some idiot merged two unrelated threads

I had a thread going about PDA mode, and somebody else had a thread going about posts being moderated in unmoderated areas. And now some idiot merged the two totally unrelated threads. People in both threads are upset. What does PDA mode have to do with moderating posts that shouldn't be moderated?

It was probably a mistake and the wrong threads merged - it is pretty easy to do.

Have you PMed a moderator of this area to see if they can fix it? Might be better than resorting to names and calling people 'idiots' when it was probably an innocent mistake

And how about instead of insulting the mod staff, PMing one of them and asking what happened.

Maybe I should choose my words more carefully, but it was still a stupid mistake. And I have no idea who the mods are for this section for me to contact them. I can't tell in the new layout from my phone.

The problem is when somebody merged my thread about PDA mode with a thread about moderated posts in unmoderated areas. It is this very bug reporting board. I can't copy and paste links from this phone to post the link. Once two threads have been merged can they be unmerged? Or do we all have to start over again? It is just frustrating. At least I was honest enough about my feelings, I am sure several others feel the same way. I will try to be more polite in the future.

If you can let the mods know, even by posting here which thread it is, they should be able to split the thread again
