I hope not. It appears that Republican Senators are utterly dedicated to something. Just not America.

Senator Joe Manchin appears to share their dedication and from here it looks like the same thing - getting re-elected is more important than country, or even party.

It takes more than one senator to defeat an agenda for an entire country.

Not when the parties are divided and hold an equal number of seats in the Senate. When you know how a majority of both parties are going to vote, it just takes one to tip things.
