When you add all the racial killings to the Jihadist killings, and all the crimes committed by all the so-called refugees, and the unnecessary deaths and suicides of veterans, then it is all the more imperative that Mr. Obama should step down RIGHT NOW.Have your attitudes or opinions changed as a result of the recent killings?
While I happen to agree ( and believe I agree with your reasoning) is there any particular reason you say so.When you add all the racial killings to the Jihadist killings, and all the crimes committed by all the so-called refugees, and the unnecessary deaths and suicides of veterans, then it is all the more imperative that Mr. Obama should step down RIGHT NOW.
Blacks with money are more likely to be harassed by the police than whites with money. Yep.so blacks with money are more likely to be convicted than whites with money? I am just making sure that I am understanding correctly.
What is the difficulty here? Is truth racist?
tulc(of course there wont be a trial or a defense offered for this particular case because that "suspect" was shot and killed shortly that transmission)"The two occupants just look like people that were involved in a robbery,” the officer continues. “The driver looks like one of our suspects because of the wide-set nose.”
would you say a police officer was racial profiling if he told dispatch:
tulc(of course there wont be a trial or a defense offered for this particular case because that "suspect" was shot and killed shortly that transmission)
No more than if he had said a thin nose. Are we so pc now that mentioning physical characteristics are verboten?
So that would be a "Nope , stopping a guy because he has a wide nose wouldn't be racial profiling."?
tulc(just trying to be clear on the answer)
Just checking.
tulc((wouldn't want to make any assumptions)
That says that while the use of force shows bias the use of LETHAL force does not.Blacks with money are more likely to be harassed by the police than whites with money. Yep.
Conviction, I don't know. You tell me.

My old army buddy is black, at the time, he just finished his 4th deployment. 7 years of service. He got pulled over trying to visit some friends because he happened to be black and also drive a nice car.. which he bought with that deployment money.Blacks with money are more likely to be harassed by the police than whites with money. Exactly. It is a double standard and it is unjust. We need to acknowledge this and change societal behaviors. My old army buddy is black, at the time, he just finished his 4th deployment. 7 years of service. He got pulled over trying to visit some friends because he happened to be black and also drive a nice car.. which he bought with that deployment money.
Yet, it is still illegal and, as such those blacks have the right to have it thrown out of court.
Well, we can start by letting people know that if they feel they were wrongly stopped they can challeage it in court NOT violenly on the street.Exactly. It is a double standard and it is unjust. We need to acknowledge this and change societal behaviors.
that does not mean that you raise cane no you wait for your day in court.True, and I don't disagree.
You may not know, but were they LOOKING for that particular type of car?My old army buddy is black, at the time, he just finished his 4th deployment. 7 years of service. He got pulled over trying to visit some friends because he happened to be black and also drive a nice car.. which he bought with that deployment money.
You may not know, but were they LOOKING for that particular type of car?
and when they do you can file a complainent with the department and/or if arrested for no reason get it thrown out of court.Cops pull people over out of boredom sometimes. When I was a teen we got pulled over all the time for no reason. The cops just wanted something to do, check out our girls, see if we were drinking, and mildly harass us. They knew us and our cars. They cruised the beer bars (18 for that then) checking out the known cars. They also "bushwacked" us (sneaking up and shining flashlights on us) when we were parked and making out. We were all white, no blacks at all in our part of town.
Police do what they do......police. They stop people.....because they can.
It happens in court all the time...over and over and over again. Have you gone through the court system for challenging a ticket? Do you have a couple days to take off everytime it happens? How many times would you go through the hassle before you used social media and other avenues to complain?Well, we can start by letting people know that if they feel they were wrongly stopped they can challeage it in court NOT violenly on the street.
