I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. Scientific laws are subsets of theories....they are often mathematical, or otherwise 'true every time', like Newton's law of gravity. It tells you what a dropped object will do every time, but it doesn't tell you why. Theories tell you why; they unite all the facts into a cohesive explanation.

Theories do not become laws upon repeated testing, or we would have a Law of Evolution by now.

I don't understand what you mean by suggesting global warming hasn't become an issue until after more and more green-house gases were produced.....of course global warming did become an issue until our world was a million more times polluted; this much is true. Of course man cannot destroy the climate, but man can screw with the earth's natural processes so much that eventually the climate will destroy man.

And the greenhouse gas theory is very true; man has produced many greenhouse gases; our atmosphere has a high amount of gas in it, much higher than when the industrial revolution started.....okay, heres a simple explanation of how global warming works...

the gases in the atmosphere trap infrared heat/rays emitted from the sun. Normally, our earth reflects many of these rays away, absorbing some, but bouncing away most armful radiation. What green house hases do is trap that radiation, and keep it in from radiating outwards, in turn, heating up our own atmosphere.

I've taken plenty of chemistry classes; once you explore the models of atoms, electronegativity, and the nature of light/energy(frequency, wavelength, etc), these things begin to make sense on a mathematical level.

I suggest you go back to school before you misinform someone with some very bad information (lies in my opinion)

Exactly. Wikipedia is a good general information starting point. You then need to follow the citations or run google searches to research more. I'd never use wikipedia for actual research purposes. For that I start with a research database like PsycInfo (or my own library of journals).
