Nothing that happens over a single generation is evolutionary change. That generally takes hundreds of generations or more.

God help us all if I'm right. I see obese people, plainly doing everything they should not do to improve the human race physically, on the beach. I see them go for a swim (too cold for me now). I wonder if they will just keep going, turning into a dolphin before my eyes.......

The point is: you cannot take yourself as your own foundation - and not be in some way selfish.

What ever the foundation is, in principle it should be a stronger foundation, for certain "reasons".
