• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

slim pickin's indeed.

most single men around here (Indiana) are 1. unemployed--because they can't HOLD a job! 2. womanizers and/or abusers 3. haven't discovered the joys of soap/water and toothpaste and 4. so afraid of 'feelings' that they run at the sign of emotion quicker than cheap mascara. :-(

Yep....finding someone who loves Jesus, bathes regularly and is responsible....pfft!!!!

I would LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to move somewhere NORTH of Indiana. hehehehe

Unfortunately, one of the many blessings not bestowed upon me by our loving Father is the money to do so. He apparently has me here for a reason.....

God will always find a way for you. ;)

I relocated from CA to AZ with hardly any money and a child to support. I just prayed ALOT and we're going fine. :)

I've considered moving as well but have always felt that I would be moving to be with someone not moving to find someone...

I'm willing to move anywhere to be with the man that the Lord has for me...I just have never felt led to move somewhere to find that man...

I hope that makes sense...:)

I moved the same week that I filed for divorce. I needed a "fresh start" b/c there was too much emotion connected with staying in my hometown. It was a great move - although it's been a challenge to establish our roots here. But I'm faithful that God will work things out in His time and this place will become my hometown. :)

Or maybe move somewhere because you are 'drawn' to a certain area/place......and then maybe a man will find you. ;)

I actually like moving, but I don't want to move now because I want to be near my kids. Too bad, because like I said, the single Christian women here are either in their 20's or late 40's and up.

I guess I've never been drawn to a particular place...I like where I live...I've traveled all over the world and just have never felt motivated or drawn to move somewhere on my own...

I'm totally willing to move any where and am even excited by the idea of moving but in my mind a fiance or husband has always been part of the reason for moving...

Just give it some time.....eventually it will. :)
How long have you been there? Same state or different?

When I was stressed about moving away from where we lived/grew up.....my mom told me that you can make ANYPLACE home with some love, just create it the way you will feel comfortable.
