CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My brother is 6'6" and my nephew is 6'5"...the rest of my family is tall as well, the shortest person in my family is my sister-in-law and she is about 5'4" - she's married to my 6'6" brother

The tallest person my immediate family is 6'3", the rest of us are just below average, which last I heard was 5'10". See, even more slim pickin's for some of us.

I saw there are 3 moderators and possibly 1 moderator preparing to be a moderator for this site using that thread.
There may be thousands on this site enjoying fun games and simple Christian talk on some threads but I am disturbed when they start saying pentagrams are Christian symbols to be used by Christians as if they were good luck charms or something.
I really want to know how to delete my profile after I get a chance to say good bye to some friends on this site.

I don't know how to delete your profile/user id...there might be instructions in the FAQ section or you could PM a moderator and ask them how to do it...

To stop being a member of Foru.ms, all you need to do is:
1) Go to User CP, Profile, and remove all your profile details.
2) Go to User CP, Options, and make sure you choose "No" to receiving emails from PMs, Admins etc.
3) Go to User CP, Subscriptions, and unsubscribe to all threads and forums.
4) Log out of Foru.ms and don't log in again.
We do not delete your account or posts. This means that another person cannot register with your username, and you always have the option of returning.
You are correct -- when they keep the posts it also keeps the scores offered by webhosting high -- websites get put in search engines by every word we've ever posted openly.
Found what I needed to know -- God bless you all!

I don't frequent that board that much, and I havent seen her there.She may make an appearance at another board that you might possibly frequent - that's all I was saying...
There's another board that might be her speed, but I haven't joined that yet, but it seems nice, but very quiet too.
