I have only played as a Khajit so far but my next character will probably be either a Nord (go srormcloaks!) or a mage so I can level up the magic more. I'm pretty much playing as a thief/assassin I left the companions when they suggested I become a werewolf but maybe as a Nord...

I's working towards the 100,00 gold achievement so saving the pennies. I'm trying to improve my pickpocket skills by checking out what people are carrying and deciding whether I should take it or not. You cant steal from kids...nor hurt them apparently. I have run out of room to display some of my trophies and shields. Have to get another house...how do you get the Riften one?

Maybe when I play as a Nord I'll play with no magic but can use enchanted weapons though shouts will be permitted (being dragon born and all!)

I like the idea of playing with just items you have found. How about playing with just items that you steal or take from your kills? How about playing only wearing guard armour?

How about if you become a werewolf or vampire you play the remainder of the game with that affliction.

It's "fun" to go into a bandit hideout and transform into a wolf.
Ahh, the blood and mayhem. I love the smell of wolfsbane in the morning.

Ulfric Stormcloak is a really deep character. Don't skim thru the dialog with him.

I havent picked a side yet so I can go into both camps have you checked out the maps when you talk to the generals...they give you additional places to visit.

I have added Falkreath shield to my collection so I think I have them all now. I'm also looking to collect all the Daedric artifacts...have 10 so far just got Hiricines ring as well as building up my book collection. Maybe I'll "visit" every home in Winterun

Been having a fun glitch lately.

Anytime I go into water and it's deep enough that my character needs to swim, my console freezes. Not just the game, but my whole PS3. I have to turn it off and back on. It's no problem to walk or run through shallow water. This only happens when swimming.

Anybody else have this happen?

I haven't played in months and I am going to wait until Dawnguard is released to play again. Going to try out a vampire once it's out.

I'm so excited for Dawnguard it's ridiculous.

I have a ring that allows me to swim without drowning so exploring the lakes and rivers that are deep enough...one or two chests under water. Not had the glitch you mention but there is one quest I can't complete becuase even with the right combination on the door I can't get it open. This also means I can't cant get rid of the items in my inventoru that are associated with it as they are quest items.

Have you read "The bear of Markarth"? Puts him in an interesting light.

Anyone else having a real urge to pick flowers in the real world?

I don't think I've read that. But I've got Books of Skyrim on my Nook so I'll read it eventually.

As for picking flowers...YES!! I also have the urge to get pelts from roadkill.


I sometimes have to stop myself from pulling my car to the side of the road. I'm serious! I can see myself actually getting in a wreck over this. Oh my wife would kill me...

I've just completed the Thieves guild quest, lost an unbreakable lock pick but gained the ability to be invisible for two minutes per day and the guild now gives me a percentage of all loot stolen. That plus two achievements unlocked. I think if I do that quest again I'll keep the lock pick.

This game is very glitchy I found myself talking to two people who were the same person, one of them was half way through a wall. Also saw a horse floating in thin air. Anyone followed the ghost horse yet...lost it in Labyrinthian.

So many glitches...so little time.

I saw the ghost horse just once over several playthrus. What a cool touch that was.

More glitches...I have already killed a dragon at a particulr place but it wont clear from my quests.

MArked for death is quite a useful shout to use against dragons as the first two parts reduce its armour and then leech its life slowly in addition to any damage you do.

Whirlwind sprint is handy to get to otherwise inaccessible ledges however you have to be on the same level as the ledge you want to reach.

Aura whisper is useful for using to see how many living enemies there are in the area

IF you have all three parts of the Frost breath shout you can freeze an opponent solid although this does not kill them but does let you put in a few handy blows till they thaw out.

If you want to gradually improve your armour even if you have 100 smithing skill I have found if you keep hold of any artifacts that improve smithing and wear them altogether then use a blacksmith potion at the same time as you upgrade your armour and weapons it gradually improves it further though not by huge amounts unless you have lots of blacksmiths potions and use them one after another. I have legendary dragon armour but have managed to improve it twice more using this method.

I FINALLY GOT MARRIED!!

I tried the marriage thing before, and gave up. But this time I just kept at it and finally I got a dialog option to hook up. I married Sadre from Windhelm. He's my fence and my hubby!! I decided to move into his shop with him. First thing I did was clear out his inventory and sell it all back to him. Then I had him make me a pie.


I'm not sure my Wood Elf lady is gonna dig being with a Dark Elf. But we'll see how it works out.

I married Camilla from the trader in Riverwood...she keeps going on about how its nice that the golden claw is back.

I finally manged to get the Amulet forged so could clear it out of my inventory. I finally got my hands on some guard armour and a helmet but had to cause a bit of mayhem to get it. It wasn't stealing..he was already dead when I took it.

I now have a horse but don;t tend to use it too much as I can't work out how to get off it other than go to a town with a stable that said it tends to follow me round even if I fast travel.

The last update over the internet seems to have dealt with some of the glitches but there are still one or two missions that won't complete even when I do the tasks.
