I HATED that quest. I almost wanted to cry. My boyfriend wouldn't tell me what happened in the quest, but it freaked me out in general. I'm probably just a wimp.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just joined the nightingales, cool armour. I'm trying to clear down my miscellaneous missions down a bit but the more I do the more I seem to pick up...hey I'm, the arch mage of the college at Winterhold and what do they have me doing...finding books for an orc in the Arcaneum.

Its on par with Oblivion but a simpler menu system and levelling up.

Hey guys, for some reason skyrim keeps shutting itself off. It's not crashing, it's just going down like I close the window.
Any help on how to resolve this?

I find mine is very glitchy, like I'm given a wedding band from some bandit who I killed and I cant sell it, put it down or give it back because she's dead and its a quest item. And there are one or two doors that don't open even with the right combination and now I'm stuck with several things I can't get rid of or put down.
Does anyone else find that the more they can carry the faster they seem to be carrying too much?

Finally found the gamers section on the forums! 
Skyrim = GOTY in my opinion... I got it on release and still haven't finished it. I did have a bit of time off it playing Battlefield 3 in between but have just gone back. So many quests!
I like to take as long as I can before finishing a game like this
Ahhhhh... I want to go home and play it now...

I've noticed my game minimizing too. Could be antivirus or something causing it. It's not bad enough for me to worry about...so I don't.
I'm about halfway thru the Unusual Gem quest. It's a grind so far, but fun. When you complete it, you will permanently find a lot more gems. So, mo' money!!
I'm using the wiki to keep track of where I've been. There are 24 gems and I don't want to do any backtracking. That would be a giant waste of time.

I enjoy doing the burglary jobs for the Thieves guild but they get a bit repetitive after a while...if only for the money. I try to clear my miscellaneous missions but the more I clear the more I seem to pick up.

I havent done the strange gem one yet... I have the mission active, but I only have about 6 gems so far.
The one thing I am trying to do is buy up all the property I can and completely furnish them
Im a sucker for a good place to live. Ive bought in Riften, White Run, Solitude and recently bought in Markarth.... havent got enough gold to furnish that one yet... I also have the option to buy in Windhelm at some outrageous fee... I really do struggle to find enough gold. And I can only get so much from vendors when selling stuff before they run out of gold to buy... that a little frustrating Any ideas on the best places to get gold?

Yeah, its funny how I started the game with intentions of being the noble hero...
But now that I have started the thieves guild quests... im thinking, well... might be a good way to get some cash!

if you do burglary jobs and numbers jobs at the same time thats 1000 gold each time you return with both complete. You also get some special jobs from Delvin that pay a bit more and spread the thieves guild. Sell stuff you acquire on jobs (and as well as burgling feel free to steal other worthy items and sell them to Tonita who pretty much buys anything.
