Well I have no idea what's going on here so Imma just tell ya how my skyrim is going. right now my warrior is level 16 or 17 and I've been trying to get the solitude house (25,000 gold 0_o). I was thinking after this I might make a Breton necromancer once I get to level 30 while I still play my warrior of course. Also which quests reward a LOT of money?

I have the X15 damage for one handed sneak kill...haven't met anything yet that it doesn't kill in one go..other than a Dragon. I prefer to use a bow and arrow when sneaking and take them out from a distance but use a powered up great sword when I'm forced to fight one on one.
I prefer a bow as well. But I must say, after I forced myself to use a dagger primarily, I ended up appreciating it greatly.

Hmm, not sure which ones give out the most coin really. Logic would suggest that would be the Thieves Guild since they're all about money.

My dunmer spellsword is only 9 but I like him so far. After reading these posts, I'm eager to try a dual wielding thief or assassin.
I liked my last spellsword too. He wasn't all that powerful, but very fun to play. I ended up having him conjure a lot.

I'm boosting up my lockpicking perks for the first time. It's nice to be able to pick a lock without struggling. I've gotten pretty good at lockpicking, but still.
And I'm trying to get that Treasure Hunter perk. 50% greater chance of finding special treasure. Translation:
MORE LOOT

I've discovered something pretty cool. You can "fast" travel (faster than going around a mountain range anyway! haha) with an Argonian by swimming to the general area where you are going. Need to get from Fort Amol to Windhelm? You can swim the whole way and not come up for air! Plus it's basically a white water rapids ride...and that's all kinds of awesome.

Plus, salmon!

The House in solitude is worth it for size but you have to spend a bit more on doing it up. The thieves guild is probably the best way to earn cash as it is all about the loot. The average extra jobs get you about 500 gold so two of those at a time is 1000 plus selling a few things you might acquire during your extra jobs to Tonita at the guild who will pretty much buy anything you have.

I don't tend to use the magic too much just for healing mostly when I need it. I have found an enchantment for breathing underwater so have now created a ring that allows me to explore underwater as there are one or two chests lying about underwater.

I'm pretty lethal with a bow especially when i'm shooting while sneaking but I'm pretty handy with a great sword too if I need to do it.

I haven't had the chance to use the 15x sneak attack bonus. I'm working on building a light armor character that emphasizes on stealth just so I can try this out.

I've done that but ended up dying when I went over a waterfall. It was really fun right up to my death. Doesn't your Argonian die on the waterfalls?

"Destruction magic is okay as long as you don't burn any houses down."

15 dragons down, accidentally shot an imperial horse but mistake (it did walk into my line of fire) and the owner was not happy. Has any one else killed a dragon but not been able to absorb its soul for some reason?

Yes, but only if you hit a rock. If you land in water you'll be fine. Of course it's hard to aim when you're going over a big waterfall!!

Maybe once. I think someone else may have gotten the kill shot without me realizing it.

I didnt realize that when people kept on telling me that I look ill or that I should be in bed I was actually carrying a disease. :)

Going for a dagger welding assassin mage at the moment.
I did that too, then it dawned on me that I was infected. Often when I do catch something I don't even notice it since I'm usually just a tad bit distracted with all the fighting.

Dagger wielding assassin mage sounds like big fun. Illusion is your BEST friend!

House of Horrors quest. ***Spoilers***

So I made a new character (after saving over my old character that was level 27 -_-) anyways he's a mage and I wanted him to be the good guy. Anyways while I was adventuring in markarth (think thats how its spelled) I saw this guy talking about daedra worship. Long story short I heard when you bring the bring back the priest you have to beat him with a mace until he surrenders his soul. anyway you can take the good guy route. (sorry for bad grammar didn't feel like correcting myself)

Yup. You have to be careful who you talk to. Some quests are really dark. I tend to save before I approach a strange NPC. Of course, Skyrim being Skyrim, sometimes you have no choice but to talk to one. I don't like that, but I guess it adds and element of mystery and randomness to the game.
