I'd love for him to explain why he thought Lollie was going for the gun.
That statement, by itself, I agree with. That said, nothing he did warranted what happened to him. The cops were 100% in the wrong.
He continued to argue with the police and refused to do what they told him. Whether he believed he did nothing wrong or not, the cops have a job to do.
What...are cops just supposed to NOT do anything when an alleged criminal says "I didn't do nothing wrong"?
Lol, really? A security guard tries to kick him out of a public area, makes what is essentially a false report against him, then a cop attempts to makes an illegal, unwarranted arrest and you think it's ok to tase him? Really?
The hysteria is really showing in your post here. The security guard was working from the notion that it was an area for employees only, so you saying he filed a false report is...well...false. The cops, who may not have had all the information, tried to make contact with the suspect who decided it would be better to basically ignore them and then call them racist. He continues to refuse to do what he is asked to do and is still being vocally abusive.
So yeah, I think the cops acted rightly. All Lollie had to do was comply with what they were initially asking and this situation wouldn't have escalated.
Being cleared by a review doesn't mean that the arrest and/or tasing weren't bogus.
And being black doesn't automatically make someone a victim.
