Interesting. Would you please elaborate on this? I sometimes find Qur'anic language confusing.
Allah warning the believer's said if they turn back from his Faith he(Allah) will
get another people whom He will love as they will love Him,they will feel lowly
with the Believers,mighty against the Rejecters, fighting in the Way of Allah and
never afraid of anyone in doing so and that's the grace of Allah he give it to
whom he will and Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.

They have no real knowledge, they follow nothing but merely a conjecture, certainly they did not kill him (Jesus).

AL-Quran is sent in Arabic to teach and to remind, so read and say, "O Rabb increase my Knowledge"

If you are going to rely on historial evidence and present it to believers then you should know "WE as humans" have no real knowledge according to a verse in Qur'aan with regards to this matter.
If you are going to rely on qur'aan and seek answers to your questions then every one should know that believers "Hear and Obey" - As per Qur'aan "neither did they kill him nor did they crucify him but they thought they did because the matter was made dubious for them"

the part of the verse you are refering to means:
when they took the man who appears to them as Jesus, they was in doubt,
and it was like a guess to them, that's why they was in differ

Also, the Blessed Virgin Mary was present during the crucifixion. Why was she also deceived into thinking it was her Son on the cross?

If you are trying to understand the verse in Qur'aan I believe you are trying to understand God. Am I right?
My next question is - If you are trying to understand God, Are you only going to understand what you desire and leave the rest assuming its nothing to do with understanding God?
